Is there any plan to have a referral form that can be linked to from a practice website so referring dentists can refer directly into Dentally?
Tell me this is happening sometime soon!White space everywhere and where to start! If anything why can we add to the waiting list while booking that individual appointment, rather than having to open patient record, appointments and the adding, so time consuming!
HiIt’s frustrating that Dentally phone support does not offer extended opening hours for the convenience of dentists or practice staff that work outside of 9-5pm hours or especially at weekends (note: Carestream R4 still have Saturday support staff working until 2pm). The situation is now made worse by the fact that Dentally now appear to have switched off the ability for clients to be able to send offline support requests via Ellie / chat bot outside of regular hours (when the question is more technical and cannot be answered by Ellie ai). This is really a step backwards and a total disregard for clients - why would Dentally do that? Aside from increasing the monthly fees from this month, how is this in any way client centric, is Dentally tryin to avoid a pile of new support requests from appearing at 9am on Monday morning from the weekend?Sorry for the rant but if I am correct in stating that chats requests (as per the below image) cannot now entail we send a support request outs
Hello, Im currently working on an ai receptionist for dental clinics. were working with a clinic that is using dentally as their PMS. my question is can we connect to the API strictly just for scheduling purposes. or do we need to have a partnership with Dentally? Is there a cost for this set up or if once the clinic has a membership with dentally would that be okay.
Hi guys, We have prev used Exact and were able to do Denplan assessments through it (had a Denplan tab) in patients details etc. How do we now do that in Dentally?
Hi, More data tags would be very useful for templates, such as one for the person being referred to. ie “Specialist name”. Also it would be great if when creating new correspondence, the data tag for “Dentist” relates to the clinician logged in, not always the clinician to whom the patient is assigned to on the details page. Thanks!
Hi team,To my understanding, if a patient texts “STOP” or “CANCEL” to any sms from Dentally, we are blocked from replying to them. While the support team told me that by texting ‘START” to our practice Dentally number, SMSs could be resumed, in practice we tried this with a patient and it didn’t work.So firstly, I’d flag that this isn’t working as intended. It is quite problematic when we cannot contact a patient by SMS, as not everyone checks their voicemail or email. SMS has a much higher read rate than the other methods.Secondly, can we please remove the “CANCEL” rule? I think it works against the intention. For example, if we message a patient with a reminder about their appointment and they reply “CANCEL” (and this has happened) - we are blocked from replying to them.
Sometimes when we do recare calls, we want to send a manual email from the correspondence to be more personable and add upcoming appt times. However, it doesn’t link to the recall report contact count. If you have any questions about what I mean, please ask.
It would be great to have a bespoke tag system, whereby we can create our own tags in settings. Use cases might include the following, although an effective system would allow you to choose your own titles and colours:Mobility Restrictions Wheelchair User Downstairs Surgeries Only Ongoing Complaint Welsh (or other language) Speaker Severe Gag Reflex Carer Required Visual Impairment Hard of HearingWe should then be able to add the tags to patient records, add / change / remove them in bulk via the patients report, and report on patient tags in the patients report (e.g. add tags to the filter).Obviously you would expose the tags via the API, and have a tags endpoint! The engineering here isn’t complex.Again, this feature is fairly 101 for most SaaS CRM systems.
It would be great if we could tag correspondence items with bespoke tags, setup in settings with various colours (and icons?).To be useful, you’d need to be able to filter by tags in the correspondence tab. I can see you can filter by method (e.g. email etc.) but not a tag or category. You would also need to be able to add and remove tags in bulk, not one by one - e.g. tick items on the correspondence list and click ‘Edit Tags’ or similar. You’d also need to be prompted to select a tag when adding correspondence.Example use cases might be:ConsentAutomated (e.g. recalls)FinanceGDPRDiagnosticLaboratoryOtherThis is a fairly simple, 101 type tool in most SaaS file management systems.
Hi I tried to add another new “dentist “ option for the online booking. the new dentist option is still “setting up loading.” It looks like there is an error in loading. Can you have a look please?
Dentally needs to have a simple tracking system from the unbooked treatment of how many times the patient was contacted, how they were contacted, etc. I’d highly suggest, they do research into Max Assist https://maxassist.com/Before moving to Ireland from Canada, I used this software, and it was fantastic in tracking everything from Recare to Treatment planning, KPIs etc. At a glance, I could see how many times I contacted the patient to book their pending tx, how many times I contacted a patient to book their recare, etc.
Hello,Is there any scope for dentally to have an integration with the national Patient Flag ServicePatient Flags Service - FHIR API - NHS England DigitalVisility across EPRs has obvious benefits and I’m wondering if this has been covered previously and how dental serrvices that operate as part of a wider NHS provision using other EPRs manage these patient groups.Feel free to contact me directly if useful[Email redacted]Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust
Can the “appointment status” be moved next to the “when” column. Also from this screen, if you pick an appointment to send an SMS reminder, go to edit, if they have an earlier appointment than the one you are sending the SMS for, it comes up with that earlier date, can this be rectified please?
We have just bought a Samsung Tablet for the practice, but it only appears as if it can be run as a concierge and not for signing estimates. Can this be done with an Android tablet? We are not fans of apple products.
We should be able to direct share patient photos with the patient by the portal and email without having to export them to the desktop.
Please can the clinics function be worked on, it takes forever to add a clinic, having to refresh the page a billion times before it works. Also not being able to adjust the clinic, from the diary page, it should be much more simpler than the way it is set up. Please can this be worked on?
Please change 'LINK APPOINTMENTS' default to OFF. As a new user from Exact if the link is defaulted to on sending through/making appointments becomes very confusing.
Hi there,I was hoping to see in the correspondence, who was the user that sent the email or email to the patient. Would it be possible to add that
The takings and income reports keep timing out or giving an error or returning no data - it is intermittent and does not always occur but this never used to happen. The issue is exacerbated when I do a wider date range or more practitioners however I never used to have this issue
Hiya, Is there anywhere we can log a voicemail left for the patient, in corrospondence it only has a log a phonecall and i don’t want to do it in notes ideally. Thanks
Hello, When receiving webhook events for ‘appointment.created’, it often provides fake/default values. For example: finish time is null, when in reality, this can never be the case. Also duration is 0 and start time is also null. Other information such as patient information and reason are filled in.Is this a known issue? Do i need to fetch the just created appointment again by id (id is provided in the body). I did not previously do this due to not wanting to hit the API rate limit. Thank you!
Hi All We are using the chat feature on dentlally and it is great, especially when chatting between clinics. Wondering if anyone knows if the below is possoible, or if support have it in pipeline for rollout. Group chat. We have 8 reception staff, and if I need to bubble them for anything, I have to copy and paste it into each seperate chat. Would be great if able to create groups (REC) (supervisors) etc.. so that group chats would be possible. Delete chat. I have in error once / twice send a chat to the wrong person (dentist and admin with same first name) and jsut select wrong name. Is it posisble to delete a chat (even if only by manager?) RegardsEamonn
Hello,I have to agree with the comments of Kate T and RegentStreet85 about whether Dentally Portal is fit for purpose in servicing the needs of Plan Practices. Kate T wrote the following to the Community.“Hi Simon, the problem is with booking dental checks from our point of view. It would be ideal if a private patient only had the option to book a private dental check, a Denplan Care patient only had the option to book a Denplan Care dental check etc. Many thanksKate”From RegentStreet85“Hi,Yes i agree with this request. It would be a lot easier, we have 8000 pts to deal with and can be a pain when needing to book relevant appts to a plan.Unfortunately the portal doesnt seem very Denplan friendly.” It would appear that Dentally has designed a patient portal without finding out what Plan Practices need from online booking. Frustratingly the portal does not seem to be very Plan friendly.Regards,Tim
HI Allwant to see if any other clinics are having the issue we are having of late. on the dentally invoices, under the invoice date, it says DUE by and another date +7 days in future We been having patients of late, stating when we go to collect payment, that the balance is not due for 7 days as per invoice. (esp on large treatments). Unless pre-approved or on payment plan, all invoices are due on day of treatment. This text on top of invoice, is now causing some issues, esp with patients being able to get invoice on dentally portal, and it clearly saying a DUE date that is not the date of invoice. Eager to see if any other clinics have noticed same?RegardsEamonn
