We have just started with Dentally and chose is specifically for the Xero integration.As a dental prosthetic clinic we have only a few items that include GST. When going over to Xero it seems to default as GST Exclusive, even for a day where no items with GST were charged. I can manually alter this in Xero but that seems clunky and not a true “integration”.A bigger problem I am having is a day where we did three transactions, two which were GST free and one that included GST but in Xero GST has been charged on the total which is not correct, and the only way I can see to fix it is to redo the invoice with the days transactions individually, but again this seems like a lot of manual work when it should just do it correctly in the first place. Has anyone had similar issues with the Xero integration?  How did you fix it or manage this?Thanks

The api docs have NHS and PPS number field for UK and Ireland but not one for Medicare (Australia) that i can see of. Coming from a legacy system which did not record medicare expiry date, the migration to Dentally meant the medicare number was inserted into notes, while the IRN (individual ref number) inserted into Health Fund Patient ID field. We are updating the Medicare number of patients and could not easily update it into the Medicare number field because of the lack of API endpoints. I hope this is in the works soon.

Are there any plans to add the UDA tracker as is in EXACT to dentally ?- much needed 

Just as deposit , Dentaly should have a refund button instead of creating negative payments. It will keep trail cleaner and also stripe payments should be able to refund via click

I'd like to provide feedback on your DIrect Messages feature. The windows to see the list of contacts is too small, and there is no appropriate signs as to which conversation has been read or not. Perhaps this features requires some reworking, as it is specially frustrating on large practices with dozens of staff texting. In fact, you cannot even read their full names if too long. Please fix this as this is a huge quality of lifeimprovement for a very good platform.

Hi, Anyone with NHS Sedation contract using dentally to transmit claims? How to make sure correct number of episode are sent on to compass? Our number of episodes never matched with compass..Thanks    

Has anyone else experienced anyone booking an appointment via the dentally app in an appointment slot that doesn’t exist? E.g. Tom has an appointment for 60 minutes ( 2pm-3pm) but it’s allowed Tim to book an appointment at 2.30pm via the dentally app (with the same clinician on the same day)

​@Saymon  Do Dentally have any plans to integrate with WhatsApp, it can be easier to manager (And cheaper than SMS) a few of our patients say they dont use SMS. Tom 

It would be great if the charting for base and treatment planning was much simpler with icons for the regular work that is completed next to the teeth in charting. 

At the moment, Dentally won’t let you use Charge when the appointment total is €0, so it won’t generate an invoice from the treatment plan for PRSI exams (because PRSI Exam has no patient fee) I would like to Allow Charge to create a €0 invoice when appointment total is €0. It is difficult for reception to know when a PRSI exam has been done as no invoice is automatically created then

I request that the product design team add a feature within Kiosk/Concierge. We implemented Kiosk last week following the product launch, but so far it does not seem to have the desired effect.As patients do not always fill out their forms online, the system does not decrease the reception workload; it simply adds another step to the check-in process because patients report to reception immediately afterward to complete their forms.Here are a few practical suggestions: Integrated Forms: Add an option to make forms a part of the kiosk experience. This will ensure there is no duplication of work. Directional Messaging: Alternatively, add the option to set up a message following the concierge flow. Currently, attempting to do forms already checks patients in, thereby bypassing the whole purpose of a Kiosk. A configurable "Welcome" or direction message would allow the practice to direct patients to complete

HI we are having problems with generating a miscellaneous claims in the new Wales contract, the ‘acute mucosal conditions’ and ‘re cement inlay’ do not generate a miscellaneous treatment package, so we are having to use other codes to generate this, however this is not accurate for what we are doing. could this be corrected or should we be doing something else? 

could you conform that denture repairs require the patient to pay a lab fee on the new wales contract?my colleague has a problem when a patient was exempt for exam (over 60 exempt exam only) and he needed to claim a denture repair. having input the lab fee, it did not come up with a charge for the patient for the lab fee unless he took out the age exemption, could you clarify what should be happening please? 

We are having issues when patients are completing their FP17 at home on the portal, and either not marking an exemption or wrong exemption.  If it is under 25 over 60 as this does not come up on list of exemptions as it is not a permanent exemption so there is no way at all to solve this, if you invalidate the FP17 it is not reissuing the form to the portal, and then the patient automatically comes up with a charge.If the exemption is wrong and we invalidate it it still does not send to the portal even in if a COT has not been planned.I do feel practices need to be able to invalidate and reissue when the patient attends its causing a lot of time to be spent trying to figure out as admin how to rectify  it and then for clinicians in practice who presume the patient form is correct.If we could simply send a new form to the clinipad on arrival it would solve all the issues.If we get a paper FP17 signed this will not serve any purpose as it will not ch

when managing multiple dentists it would be really handy to lock appointments to the specific dentist that requested it - when dragging and dropping appointments from the clipboard to minimise booking mistakes made rather than having to hide other dentistsor is there a better way to do this that i am yet to discover?

Initially the client wants a simple feature that links a CRM contact record to a Dentally patient record (search by name/email/phone, store the patient ID, deep-link back into Dentally).The CRM is multi-tenant — the client is the first user, but other practices will sign up over time and connect their own Dentally accounts via OAuth. Is there a way to forward all NHS 111 referrals to dentally mail? So, we can pick up 111 referrals straight away rather than toggling between windows.

Description: We’d like the calendar to automatically show only practitioners scheduled to work on the selected day.Currently, this requires manual selection via the eye icon, which must be updated daily as clinician availability changes.This feature would:Save time for reception teams Reduce manual errors Provide a clearer daily viewEspecially useful for practices with frequently changing clinician schedules.

At the moment, appointment reasons don’t have a default duration, so H30 always needs the duration selecting at the time you book. This is inefficient when H30 should always be 30 minutes for all practitioners. Please add a setting so an appointment reason can be configured to default to a specific duration (e.g. 30 minutes), rather than having to pick it each time.

Currently the list of medical conditions is long and hard to understand.Could I suggest a drop down list to select from.Also, comon conditions like ADHD and Autism are missing completely. These are both very common and need to be slected as they require different management to other conditions, especially in the chair.
