Please can the font be bolder or bigger, its hard to read, doesn’t stand outmany thanks

being able to book joint appointments ie exam/hyg would be great  and it show as joint in diarys

Is anyone else having troubles with the deposits system? we’re finding any funds taken that are allocated as a deposit don’t get allocated to any invoices generated without being manually released. Even if the invoice generated matches the clinician on the deposit.

If one right clicks on a zone in the diary there is only the option to delete.Can we have the option to edit the time of the zone from here as well please (like in Exact).Also, the ability to create a zone directly in the diary (like in Exact).

Hi Dentally team,We noticed that our existing patients couldn’t book a recall online, so we tried to correct this.However, in our practice, we have the patients of the lead dentist being seen by our OHT with adult scope.Therefore we had to ‘unlock’ the practitioner, as for the lead dentist’s patients, it wasn’t letting patients book online.Unfortunately, even ‘unlocking’ the practitioner does not solve the problem as when you get to the “Choose a date & time” page, there is no filter to choose the practitioner - or no way to link our lead practitioner’s patients with the OHT for recalls.I imagine if I leave the portal as it stands, we will have to manually check every single recall booking from the portal, to ensure its with the correct practitioner - and ask patients to move to a different timeslot as they may have picked the wrong practitioner.Can we have help with updating the portal so that  Dentists with an OHT ca

Is there any plan to have a referral form that can be linked to from a practice website so referring dentists can refer directly into Dentally?  

Tell me this is happening sometime soon!White space everywhere and where to start!If anything why can we add to the waiting list while booking that individual appointment, rather than having to open patient record, appointments and the adding, so time consuming!

HiIt’s frustrating that Dentally phone support does not offer extended opening hours for the convenience of dentists or practice staff that work outside of 9-5pm hours or especially at weekends (note: Carestream R4 still have Saturday support staff working until 2pm).  The situation is now made worse by the fact that Dentally now appear to have switched off the ability for clients to be able to send offline support requests via Ellie / chat bot outside of regular hours (when the question is more technical and cannot be answered by Ellie ai).   This is really a step backwards and a total disregard for clients - why would Dentally do that?  Aside from increasing the monthly fees from this month, how is this in any way client centric, is Dentally tryin to avoid a pile of new support requests from appearing at 9am on Monday morning from the weekend?Sorry for the rant but if I am correct in stating that chats requests (as per the below image) cannot now entail we sen

 It would be extremely useful to be able to colour code the different “kinds of correspondance” as it makes it immediately obvious without having to change the filter what is what.  Example: If we attach an incoming referral from the hospital or another dental practice, it would be nice to just scroll down to the latest e.g. red colour knowing that it is a referral, it saves time and navigating would be immedate with less clicks here and there.  Seconds matter when we’re moving around the system It would be useful if we can FORCE a clinician to look at an important “kind of correspondance” when the patient next comes for an exam.  Example: An important referral from the hospital has been added to the correspondance.  Rather than having to create yellow sticky notes etc, if we want to make sure that the dentist sees and does not miss the referral during the next “exam” appointment, it would be nice to add a feature to “upload new document” screen

Is there a way to turn off this annoying new feature ‘ready to book’ or have it automatically toggled on by default? Its just another button to press before reception can book pts in.

Hello, Im currently working on an ai receptionist for dental clinics. were working with a clinic that is using dentally as their PMS. my question is can we connect to the API strictly just for scheduling purposes. or do we need to have a partnership with Dentally? Is there a cost for this set up or if once the clinic has a membership with dentally would that be okay.

Hi guys, We have prev used Exact and were able to do Denplan assessments through it (had a Denplan tab) in patients details etc. How do we now do that in Dentally?

Hi all, is there anyway to monitor past occupancy of separate clinicians. I know there is a future occupancy report. I have looked into the practitioner report but I don’t find accurate enough as it is only for patients/appointments who have completed treatment on that day. It also doesn't record the hours if our treatment plan doesn't contain the number on minutes.Thank you 

My team have been testing the short-notice list by adding themselves, accepting a short-notice appointment, and then removing it. Even though the slot appears free in the diary whitespace, it no longer shows as available for short-notice booking. Has anyone experienced this before or know how to resolve it?ThanksLesley

Hi Product team,I need to flag a potential flaw/drawback of the online booking portal that we have found. We’ve found that the messaging/design of the Portal is most likely losing us new patient bookings. The good news is, I believe it can be fixed fairly simply.This wouldn’t be only us experiencing this issue, it would apply to other practice also, especially smaller practices with less potential capacity for total patients to be seen.Context/Problem statementWe've had a significant growth in organic search traffic and Google ads traffic. Whilst looking into why that isn't converting to more New Patients, we found the booking portal starts off by asking if you are a new/existing customer --> What type of appointment are you after—> Choose your practitioner and see availability. Hi, More data tags would be very useful for templates, such as one for the person being referred to. ie “Specialist name”. Also it would be great if when creating new correspondence, the data tag for “Dentist” relates to the clinician logged in, not always the clinician to whom the patient is assigned to on the details page. Thanks!

Hi team,To my understanding, if a patient texts “STOP” or “CANCEL” to any sms from Dentally, we are blocked from replying to them.While the support team told me that by texting ‘START” to our practice Dentally number, SMSs could be resumed, in practice we tried this with a patient and it didn’t work.So firstly, I’d flag that this isn’t working as intended. It is quite problematic when we cannot contact a patient by SMS, as not everyone checks their voicemail or email. SMS has a much higher read rate than the other methods.Secondly, can we please remove the “CANCEL” rule? I think it works against the intention. For example, if we message a patient with a reminder about their appointment and they reply “CANCEL” (and this has happened) - we are blocked from replying to them.

Sometimes when we do recare calls, we want to send a manual email from the correspondence to be more personable and add upcoming appt times. However, it doesn’t link to the recall report contact count. If you have any questions about what I mean, please ask. 

It would be great to have a bespoke tag system, whereby we can create our own tags in settings. Use cases might include the following, although an effective system would allow you to choose your own titles and colours:Mobility Restrictions Wheelchair User Downstairs Surgeries Only Ongoing Complaint Welsh (or other language) Speaker Severe Gag Reflex Carer Required Visual Impairment Hard of HearingWe should then be able to add the tags to patient records, add / change / remove them in bulk via the patients report, and report on patient tags in the patients report (e.g. add tags to the filter).Obviously you would expose the tags via the API, and have a tags endpoint!The engineering here isn’t complex.Again, this feature is fairly 101 for most SaaS CRM systems.

It would be great if we could tag correspondence items with bespoke tags, setup in settings with various colours (and icons?).To be useful, you’d need to be able to filter by tags in the correspondence tab. Hi I tried to add another new “dentist “ option for the online booking. the new dentist option is still “setting up loading.” It looks like there is an error in loading. Can you have a look please? 

Can dentally be linked and integrate with VOIP phones? This would hopefully allow caller ID to be displayed, ie when Mr Daniel Smith calls the practice, with his patient file already in Dentally, his name would pop up on the display to give a personal touch.VOIP also can allow a phone transcript to be created and so when Daniel Smith calls, a text file would get saved under the correspondence tab in dentally when the call took place and the details.Is this possible, easily done?  

Dentally needs to have a simple tracking system from the unbooked treatment of how many times the patient was contacted, how they were contacted, etc. I’d highly suggest, they do research into Max Assist https://maxassist.com/Before moving to Ireland from Canada, I used this software, and it was fantastic in tracking everything from Recare to Treatment planning, KPIs etc. At a glance, I could see how many times I contacted the patient to book their pending tx, how many times I contacted a patient to book their recare, etc.  

It would be a great time-saving feature if there was an option to do a mass export in the correspondence section, just like we can export the clinical notes history at the click of a button.The reason I am requesting this is that I am in the middle of copying & pasting every SMS sent, every email sent and every call log for a solicitor acting on behalf of a patient who has requested their entire data file from us. I think this feature should only be available through Administrator access level. 

HiI’d like to make a feature request please. We have no use for the ‘Ready to book’ toggle on the appointments- would it be possible to add the ability to switch this feature off in the settings or at least set the switch to ‘on’ as default? If someone forgets to tick the box it causes delays at reception Many thanks!
