I think it would help reception if each clinician’s diary was in different colours, not just an option of having coloured appointments. 

Hi it would be really useful if a refund button could be created for refunds rather than creating negative invoices and then negative payments.  Also a do not recall button for those patients that do not want to be recalled rather than having to clear recalls on the patient details page as well as the recalls page.  

It would be very helpful if you could edit the title of documents when you save them to customize them for each patient rather than the document being saved as the letter template title- for example- if writing a endo referral for a UR6 it would be helpful to be be able to save it with that title rather than just referral (the template title) so the admin and clinicians can get a better idea of what correspondence has been sent and received without having to open the documents up each time. So we have SMSs and Emails that bounce...for various reasons. We either resend or work out whats wrong and use another form of communication to get the right details…but then they get archived(and theres no reporting on who’s archived what)….and the problem goes away...or does it!If the patient doesn't get back to us - we try and task(habit being built!) to follow up again but that doesn't always workI’m thinking of some sort of bounced inbox for SMS and Emails, that we can work on and mark completed once we’ve got their details and the sms or email has gone through successfully(or it could figure it out automatically! :)) ...so it doesn't clog the main inbox but we don't lose sight in archived section.

Tasks are difficult to manage in Dentally, the team can change due dates without it being clear on the audit. it would be nice if a due date was changed a reason was added in so we have transparency as to why due dates are being changed. Also Task reporting - can I see how many were created, closed on time, overdue - longest wait time etc. at the moment a task is as useful as a note when it comes to performance management which means we use it but trying to manage the team on these tasks is near impossible! 

When a day has been cancelled (short notice or otherwise) by a clinician, the appointments that need rearranging are really difficult to spot. On SOE, a cancelled day would turn all appointments red on the appointment diary. This was a really valuable feature for reception staff to identify which appointments still need cancelling. Without it, a busy reception team can easily overlook cancelling a day as there is no visual cue. This will lead to annoyed patients who either don’t get enough notice to rearrange appointments, or don’t get called at all and show up anyway! It doesn’t help the management team either as at a glance it looks like the diary has been badly managed and not booked efficiently. You can’t see why without searching. Please bring in this simple feature. It will really help the workflow for the team.

Hey,Is there anyway that when you send a patient appointment confirmations or reminders, if it can remind them of all their appointments not just one if they have multiple booked?Sometimes patients will call up asking to book another appointment in later down the line while already having one booked in and when I go to send them the confirmation email or reminder it will only send one appointment (which is not the new appointment booked) and not both. Is there anyway this can be amended as it would be a great help especially if you have just booked in imps bite try and fit appointments? Thanks! 

I would like to be able to “click and drag” treatments between different appointments, rather than having to click into the “reordering/rearranging” button on the bottom. This makes it slower and I find it redundant. I would also like to be able to select multiple treatments and drag them to another appointment. This would make organizing much easier.

I find that there are too many questions for the medical history.I really like how on EXACT they categorized them into different column, this make updating medicals much easier and also easy to read. I would also like the allergies to be made more noticeable on the patient portal, rather than having just a heart icon. (I was told this was due to private and confidential, however most patients would appreciate that we are aware of the allergies that they have, would be good for us to have the option to switch on and off the allergy notification on the patient file) 

I would like to request for the ability to click into the tooth charted to change the treatment needed.Example: 46MO, to be able to click into this and change either the tooth number or the surface of restoration, rather than having to delete and rechart it. I would also like the to have the width or columns showed on each treatments to be smaller(or to have the freedom to customize how big it is), this would allow us to view more of the entire treatment plan as a whole during treatment planning. 

So we have taken a step back when moving to per appointment notes.Before I could have loaded notes on my treatment line item, and save it as a plan template. That way, next time I load up the plan template, my custom notes for that treatment line item would appear automatically. With the per appointment notes update, the treatment line items can be customised, but the notes for that item do not appear. We now have to click on create note, then load up an existing template. They have made the process longer for no reason.It has been two months and I still cannot get used to the per appointment notes format. Leaving prescriptions for hygienists is a nightmare, the hygienists are wasting valuable clinical time searching for the up to date prescriptions. On top of that the plan template notes cannot be customised. Something needs to change.

It would be really helpful to be able to add multiple people on the same task and get reminder notifications 

I wanted to raise this as a feature request because the lack of meaningful tracking within Dentally Portal has become a major issue and restriction for practices using digital advertising.When patients move from our website into the hosted Portal, we lose visibility of what happens next. We cannot reliably track whether someone starts the booking process, selects an appointment, completes payment or confirms their booking.There is no practical way to add or meaningfully integrate GA4, Google Ads tracking, Google Tag Manager or Meta Pixel. The Portal also does not retain and pass through identifiers such as GCLID, GBRAID or WBRAID, which makes accurate attribution extremely difficult (and expensive)We have explored webhooks, Zapier and offline conversions, but there does not appear to be a reliable workaround. Hi Dentally, I’m reaching out to ask whether you offer any support or guidance for tracking bookings related to Google Ads campaigns. It is essential for our marketing to have accurate data on the effectiveness of our ads and patient booking numbers through our Dentally booking system. Without this data, it’s challenging to optimise our campaigns effectively and ensure a strong return on investment. Google Ads tracking is normally set up through Google Tag Manager and GA4, however, it doesn’t look like you currently have those available as integrations. Is this something you are going to be offering soon? In the meantime, is there an alternative method for setting up Google Ads conversion tracking that you could provide a step-by-step guide for, or help us implement? Lastly, I can see that we have a Tag Manager added to our Dentally booking system. Please could you let me know how that’s possible, given that Tag Manager is not currently available as an integration? Thank you,TwentyOneD

Hi,Zoning the diary seems to be a freeform kind of thing to do - what i mean is that we can write whatever title and select any colour...which is fine...but i’m thinking how do we maintain diary integrity. Not that it happens often but if someone books in the ‘wrong’ type of appointment in a zone - how can i see this without manually hoovering over the diary?(actually scrolling through the diaries to do stuff is a regular thing but maybe another post) It’s something we push hard on is A using the zones, B putting in the right appointments in the right zones, it would be useful if we could see a list of incorrect appointments to then help coach folks or understand the causes.Having some more defined zone categories perhaps might help with future features ie online booking for treatment :) 

Hi, Is there a product roadmap for Dentally - i know we get the monthly updates but is there a living breathing document to help understand what’s possibly being introduced in the future?It could even be a sunshine diagram(like a transformation diagram with categories ie practice management, patient comms, APIs, Dentally Pulse, Reports etc and a now/next/future timeline?) It could be interactive for voting/feedback on potential features as forums are great but hard work scrolling through all chats/features and i just love something visual - big and all in one place! I know sometimes teams aren’t keen as its pinning down with dates’ish, but from a customer perspective i don’t want to be ‘surprised’ by the latest new feature...instead i want to be like - oh they said they were going to do x and now its delivered brill! And look if something isnt right or something else is prioritised, having that visibility is better than not knowing at all...(we’re friends right?!) thanks

Hi,At the moment it appears that we can only exclude zone groups in the short notice cancellation feature. the issue i face is my diary is zoned by ‘Yellow’ - exams and ‘Green’- Treatment. When a gap appears in these zones currently the feature shows all possible appointment types ie exams, treatment rather than say i can see its a ‘yellow zone’ here are your exams you could bring forward, or same for treatment.  Isit possible to assign certain zones to certain appointments - to provide a better filtered view and actionable list rather than FOH team looking at and selecting possible candidates, we want to get to a position where any manual effort to ‘pick’ the right patient is reduced as much as possible!

Feedback from the dentist is that they do not like the format of everything being lumped together and not split into individual treatment codes. When trying to look back in history will make it harder to search for specific treatments and end up having to read unrelated notes.

I'd like to provide feedback on your DIrect Messages feature. The windows to see the list of contacts is too small, and there is no appropriate signs as to which conversation has been read or not. Perhaps this features requires some reworking, as it is specially frustrating on large practices with dozens of staff texting. In fact, you cannot even read their full names if too long. Please fix this as this is a huge quality of lifeimprovement for a very good platform.

Whenever I log in to Community it logs me out of Dentally, so I have to log back in again. Could this be fixed so it doesn’t log me out Dentally, it’s so irritating!!

I would like to see a way, when we are creating an estimate, we can choose whether we want already completed tx included or not. Sometimes it can be a bit much when the private estimate includes tx that has already been included - bc the patient has obviously already paid for that tx. We can click on/off when generating a pre-d, so it would be nice to see the same feature in creating estimates 

It would be useful if Dentally could automatically email a clinician or their PA when an appointment is booked in the diary, so visiting clinicians don’t need to constantly check the calendar.
