I am finding dentally to be very clunky and missing a lot of the handy admin tools from exact. Im wondering if anyone has an easier way of navigating the following.

  1. Moving patients from one clinician to another when one leaves. We are an FD practice so once a year we have to move all of the patients booked with one clincian to the new one. In exact, I would run a sweep and it would move them all over for me. In dentally we are having to do each patient individually which is just such a waste of time.
  2. Following from that, in exact when you closed a dentists book. The appointments all turned red so it was clear who needed to be moved. In dentally they dont seem to do this.
  3. Booking appointments in clunky and its impossible to look ahead in the book as effectivley as it was in exact with the horizontal multi day view. There is the search but this isnt always effective as sometimes we need to see gaps that arent quite big enough with a view to rejiggin things to make it work.
  4. Group messages… Having to copy and paste each member of staff a message individually. Same with the tasks.
  5. Tasks dont pop up and are missed.
  6. If a patient requests their records, Printing patient records has to be done a bit at a time. The sticky notes, treatment plans and corespondance dont print with the clinical reocrds, each has to be exported individually.
  7. Finding treatment plans is awkward. Having to sift through corespondance tab full of texts and calls as aposed to the treatment plan and consents tab we used to have, wastes time.
  8. The audit tab is awful. In exact you could click the appointment and see exactly what had been done to it and when, in dentally youre having to sift through vague information to find what you need, then only getting a fragment.
  9. FP17s, sometimes we need to update a FP17 with a patient in the surgery, and get a new one signed. The only way we have found of doing this, is to make the first one invalid and then remove the appointment from the book and rebook it, then it apears on the portal. It would be handy to just be able to send one out to sign.

Please let me know if I’m just being silly and there is a simpler way to do these things.
