Good morning, When we signed up to Dentally Vision a while back now we were told that it was being worked on to import all of our older X-Rays from DBS Win software into Dentally Vision - We haven’t heard anything for a while but were told that it was actively being worked on at the time of signing up. Is there any news regarding this? Many thanks,Fran
Hoping someone can help or at least commiserate! We've been experiencing ongoing issues with our Dürr VistaScan Mini disconnecting from Dentally Vision seemingly at random - and more frustratingly, images disappearing mid-processing. When this happens we have to go and retrieve them directly from the Dürr file directory, which as you can imagine is disruptive mid-appointment.To rule out the obvious - our network connection is solid, and the scanner has recently been serviced and tested, so it doesn't appear to be a hardware or connectivity issue on our end.An added headache is that retrieving the lost images from the Dürr directory is not straightforward - currently I seem to be the only person in the practice who knows how to do it. So if I'm not available when it happens, it becomes a significant operational problem with no easy resolution on the ground.I've seen a few comments from other practices flagging the same problem, and one suggestion that's come up is that Carestream scanne
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. We have been using Dentally for approximately one month. Since the changeover, we have consistently been losing X-ray images on a daily basis. We are using a Carestream CS 7600 system. We have contacted Dentally, who advised us to use IP image acquisition rather than selecting the CS 7600 unit directly. However, we are still losing images daily. The image appears on the scanner and transfers to the Carestream window launched through Dentally, but when this window is closed, the image does not always transfer into Dentally and is effectively lost. It also does not appear in any recovery folder. It seems that the multiple windows involved in the process may be contributing to the issue. Is there a simpler, more reliable way to take an X-ray, process it, and have it transfer directly into Dentally without needing to open multiple Carestream windows?
Hi everyone,We’ve just recently switched to Dentally (as of yesterday), and I’m looking for some advice regarding using an intraoral camera with the system. We’re currently using a FocusDent MD740 (generic), and it’s set up under the “Legacy Capture Device.” The issue we’re facing is that the workflow feels quite clunky — we have to keep two separate windows open, and when capturing images, a pop-up appears requiring us to click “freeze” and then “capture.”Unfortunately, this can only be done using the mouse, which means I can’t capture images directly myself while working — I have to rely on the nurse to do it. It’s quite inconvenient and interrupts the workflow.Ideally, I’d like to:• Use just one window• Capture images directly using the button on the intraoral camera• Avoid the extra pop-up and mouse interactionHas anyone managed to set this up more efficiently, or found a workaround that allows direct capture via the camera button?Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated
we had a problem today where we lost/ deleted some images. Is there a way to retrieve them?
Is there a way to change the setting so a press of the ‘enter’ key inserts a
(single line) rather than a
(double line)?
Please can the font be bolder or bigger, its hard to read, doesn’t stand outmany thanks
Morning! We moved over to Dentally on Tuesday and one of the clinicians took BW rads. They came up on the screen but then disappeared...does anybody know how or if we can retrieve them?
Hi all, just gauging if we can get a Dark Mode UI.Just seeing if anyone else is interested in this feature.back drop will become a comfortable black colour for your eyes instead of white everywhere.
Hi All Our dentists have come looking to see if its possible to have 2PA option on dentally vision, and wondering if any other clinics know of workaround, of it is something that perhaps Dentally can roll out. We have an option for 1pa and 3pa, but no 2pa.
Can I ask how people are managing the X-ray information when the nurse is the operator and takes the X-rays. The dentist is logged in to dentally but the nurses are not listed in the practitioner drop down. This means they are not being audited on their exposures…. Is the only way around this to make them practitioners? (Which is a Bit of a pain as then they come up on diary settings etc)
Hello all! We have changed our plate scanner / processor from Apixia to Durr Vista Scan Mini The processed images are now pixilated around dense areas i.e amalg fillings, we have been advised to increase dosage which has helped but not resolved. It seems bonkers that we need to radiate patients more now we have upgraded the unit. Have any other practices had similar issues? Many thanksAnnabel
Hello! Vision was installed last week and we are keen to use it to it’s full potential. We use an Iris HD IO camera but unfortunately the capture button isn’t working within the vision software….. Anyone else have this issue? Many thanksAnnabel
