filenames on images from Cloud Gallery attached to emails

When attaching images from Dentally Vision (Cloud Gallery) to emails (as we do frequently for patients moving away from our area; we have a very mobile population of patients), there are two problems I would love addressed:

  1. if one attaches the images from Dentally Vision using the ‘select Dentally Vision images’ option, the filenames of the images are long and complex, with no patient name, and the date the images were taken embedded in the second long string of numbers. This means that the receiver of the email cannot readily identify the date the images were taken, which is a problem.
image attached using 'select Dentally Vision images' option: date images taken not easily findable in filename; also images were taken on 21/09/2026 at 9:32 am, but date in filenames (first 8 digits of second long string of numbers, in YYYYMMDD format) gives the date as 20/09/2026 (wrong time zone??)

A work-around that can be used is to export the images from the Cloud Gallery first, and then attach them to the email using the ‘choose files’ option on the email; the filenames using this method are much clearer, with the patient’s name followed by the date the image was taken in MM_DD_YYYY format. This  format is readily understandable by the patient or the practice we send the email to. However, this workaround is time-consuming.

image exported from Cloud Gallery and then attached to email using 'choose files'. Name of patient (blacked out here) and date taken clearly indicated in filename
  1. The filenames of images attached to emails using the ‘select Dentally Vision images’ option also seem to have the date according to a different time zone than me (?US?); we noticed by chance that the date (difficult to find in the long filename as it is) of images taken on one day in the morning have the date of the previous day. See attached examples.

Could the devs team set things up so that the filenames using the ‘select Dentally Vision images’ have the same format as images exported from the Cloud Gallery, and also show the correct date using the time zone where the images were acquired?
