Hello Dentally Community! Refresh your recalls to boost your revenue and retention! Let’s get started 👇  The first rule of recalls – you don’t need recalls if you pre-book! Recalls should be the last resort, not the first step. Getting a patient’s next appointment booked in while they’re in the practice reduces admin and provides more consistent revenue. Educate patients while in surgery, and finalise their next appointment at reception before they leave. What if a patient doesn't book their next visit while still in the practice? That’s where recalls come in.  Consistency is key - build a continuous recall workflow A structured and deliberate recall strategy is essential. Sometimes there’s a temptation to only send recalls when your diary is empty, and the minute your diary fills up, your recalls come to a stop. This makes it all worthwhile as a practice owner. If you put the patient first, then some profit tends to follow. We obviously need to be profitable or we'd go bust, but profit is not

Optimise your diary with the practitioner utilisation dashboardAs a dental practice, keeping the diary full  is one of your biggest priorities. And here at Dentally, we understand it can be a challenging and time-consuming task.  That’s where the practitioner utilisation dashboard comes in. Practitioner utilisation, at a glance This new dashboard allows you to quickly visualise diaries through colour-coded blocks, up to four weeks in advance. You can view the percentage of a day that each practitioner is booked, making it easy to swiftly identify underutilised time slots and take proactive measures to fill it. From the main Dentally dashboard, simply click the dropdown in the top left corner and change it to ‘Analytics’ to find your personalised practitioner utilisation dashboard. The colours indicate how much of the practitioner’s day is occupied with bookings.
