we really need a way of having a fixed note option in the patients correspondence that we can record interactions with the patients. at the moment we are having to record it under the logging a call, but its not always a call. on reception we dont want to have to write things in the clinical chart as its not easy to view at a glance.

Interaction note or meeting note would be good. We also force ourselves to use call notes when they are not calls. You could also chart a “chat note” that we sometimes do if we want it to appear in the clinical notes e.g. if a patient is rude or abusive so its clear in the event of a complaint to nhs etc.
