Hi,

I’m sure that I can’t be the only dentist frustrated with Dentally’s reticence to provide an extra and intraoral Mouth Map… how else can we record oral pathology each time we see our patients? I’ve  been regularly asking for this facility since moving from SOE to Dentally in 2020, but to date, no progress!

Perhaps the community could help push Dentally’s software development team to facilitate this extremely important function; it seems crazy to have to revert to separate paper-based records!

Hi @rajenkins!

Thanks for sharing this! I know it’s a really important request and having an extra and intraoral mouth map like in SOE Exact would make recording oral pathology much more efficient. It’s something that has been brought up before, and the team is very much aware of the need for a better way to document this digitally.

At the moment, I don’t have an update on when this might be introduced as it’s quite a large feature that needs lots of planning, but it’s definitely on the radar as a potential improvement for the clinical workflow in Dentally. I’ll keep this thread updated if I hear anything new from our Product team!

Appreciate you bringing this up again, feedback like this is always valuable in shaping what comes next! 😊

Hi @rajenkins!

There haven’t been any new developments in this area as the team is prioritising other features. I’ll update the post when there’s news :)
