Does anyone know if there is a way to search for something specifically in the previous notes? There was a search function on Exact where you could type, for example, ‘UR2’ and you could then see all notes mentioning the tooth. If this is not possible, could this function be added?

Hi everyone is there a way to set minimum appointment duration times with each appointment reason?Also can it be more user friendly as most of our dentists who have been working in the industry for the past 40 years are not finding it easy to use.

It’s very confusing to know if we are selecting the right NHS codes as we cannot see the number of UDAs the individual items and whole COT is worth. please can you add features so that we can see the total UDA value for the entire treatment plan, and see individual UDA values for each treatment item within the plan

Id like to request the following changes to dentallywe need to be able to chart mobility index on the actual chart itself we need to be able to send out group messages to people logged on we need “quick plans” for sending out direct messages to staff members like SOE had we need a proper UDA tracker just how SOE had, to keep us on track

Is anyone using AI voice? Is this the same as Chairsyde?Any good?Does it work with noise/music/ other people talking in the background? 

there seems to be a breakage in x ray bridging link for the whole practice. we had to do it yesterday now it happens again this morning 

Hello Dentally Community,Our practice greatly appreciates the ease of clicking a button to put a new referral through the patients file on Dentally. However, we feel it would be beneficial for everyone if your system could pick up any referral activity. Where it currently says “Success” in green, it could say “action needed” (if hospital requires additional info) and be orange or “failed” (if referral rejected) in red. This could also be automatically flagged to the dentist in notifications when the status changes to orange or red. It would make sense to create referral reports based on the referrals.Many thanks for your consideration.East Mews

Hi,One of our clinicians has come back to work today after two weeks holiday, and her diary is not showing the greyed out areas for breaks or other closed diaries. In other words she has white space everywhere, including where there shouldn’t be! Is anyone else having this issue as she is the only one in the practice who is, the diary is displaying correctly in Reception. ThanksClaire

Hi ​@Saymon Do you know if Dentally have any plans to improve the instant messaging feature. We use this a lot in our practice and we miss the feature that enabled us to message a group of people at the same time ie, messaging both receptionists at once. Also, the aesthetics look a little clumsy as one of our clinicians has a long name and her name doesnt fit correctly therefore doesnt show how many messages outstanding form her

Is there any possibility that when our SMS recalls, reminders or any text message sent from Dentally that instead of just displaying our allocated mobile number that it appears as our practice name? Much like when Dentally sends us our 2FA SMS it shows up as ‘DENTALLY’ and not a random mobile number. This will help practices limit the amount of characters needed per SMS by not having to sign off as their practice name each time. Also, I’ve noticed our staff occasionally send SMS’s and sign off as their first names, which if the patient hasn’t saved the number as our practice, it may just come across as from a random person.

Hi, first time posting and this may have been asked already but….does anyone else have a problem when booking an impressions appointment it shows as “null” in the diary? The dentist always requests the appointments and we book as linked appointments, but we’re finding that even though it shows as “impressions” on the patient chart it shows as “null” in the diary. We’ve checked our settings and can’t see a problem. If we then double click on the appointment it will change and show the correct information, but as soon as we click on someone else or refresh the diary it will revert to null.Any ideas gratefully received as it’s driving us mad! TIA

HI all we have added new questions to our Medical History form on Dentally, but when we send then out to patients and they select YES, it does not allow them to add in the additional info we need.  We have it set up correctly, from what we can see, but wondering if any other clinics encountering this?  Have amended already existing questions, and no issue with them, Only happens to newly added questions. 

Dentally team,  can you add in names of labs where the work was sent to and the date is due back so that we know when it is overdue?

We’ve had patients being booked in with the wrong dentist from the clipboard because empty slots in the appointment book flash as available across all dentists. Is it possible to make the available appointment book slots only flash in the column of the dentist the patient is registered with? This should reduce the risk of booking with the wrong dentist

HI All I am just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this problem, and if anyone has any solutions, or if Dentally perhaps could roll out my suggested fix.  Example. You have a full day of appointments, and the dentist needs to close the day (for some short notice reasson)You close the day using the schedule, but there is nothing to highlight to users that the day now has appointments in a day that is scheduled to close.  Our clinic has 12 assoc columuns in the calendar, so the space between them is narrow, and you cannot clearly / easily see the white gap is replaced by grey.   Obv, we do alert the team that the day is closed, and that they need to reschedule the day, but as with all staff, sometimes, we can be busy, and takle it later, and then for some reason it is overlooked, forgotten and again their is no prompt to highligt the issue. On a day that is not fully booked, it is very onbious.  But also on a day

Hey just a few suggestions for improving the app.1. There is no lock screen/patient mode for the concierge app so that patients can click off it and click on anything else on the tablets..2. For the NHS PR form any chance we can write something along the lines of "Choose 1 option for the person having the appointment"We have a lot of parents clicking under 18 and then scrolling down and clicking universal credit as that is what they are on and obviously it changes the option.3.Can we have a payment locking option. We have patients that pay a deposit for certain appointments and we need it to lock rather than be in credit.:)

hello. If a patient informs the practice that they were actually exempt after the treatment plan was completed, invoice created and claim sent for the UDA. Its my understanding that the NHS deducts that money from the payment they make to the practice next month because technically they think we were paid by the patient.The patient then refuses to pay the invoice when we contact him for the unpaid treatment and its at that point that he informs us that he was exempt when treatment plan started. What needs done in this situation to basically recover that amount? Thank you

We have tried to access Dentally just now as we have patients today but Dentally is down apparently. Don’t know how to better get to Dentally support. Someone from Dentally please help!
