Welcome to the Dentally community! šŸŽ‰ Youā€™re now part of a group of professionals dedicated to advancing dental care with the help of innovative technology.

Ā

Take a moment to introduce yourselfā€”tell us a bit about your role or your practice, what brings you here, and maybe something fun about yourself (like your go-to way to unwind after a busy day at the practice!). Itā€™s a great way to connect with fellow members and start building relationships within our community.

Ā

Donā€™t be shyā€”jump in and say hello!Ā šŸ‘‹

Morning! Iā€™m Amy and Iā€™m the practice manager for Taylored Dental Care, we have three sites across Bradford, West Yorkshire. Iā€™m very interested to see what this community space is all about and how it can continue to help us develop!

I have a 9 month golden retreiever at home who keeps me on my toes and has completley taken over my life so my spare time is spent running around after her!

Looking forward to chatting with everyone soon x

Hey,

Ā

Iā€™m Lucy and Iā€™m the practice manager of Blossom Family Dental Care, we have 3 practices in Yorkshire. This seems like an interesting concept for us all to communicate and share ideas and queries!

When I do get a bit of spare time (dentistry is all consuming) I am a bit of a foodie and spend time out in York with my husband. Home life revolves around my 3 rescue cats.

Good Morning!

Ā

Iā€™m Esther and Iā€™m the lead patient care coordinator at Widcombe Dental. We have 2 practices in the centre of Bath and my role is to help improve our patient experience and quality of personal patient care. Iā€™m very much looking forward to seeing where this community will go, and how it will grow in the future.Ā

In my spare time, I like to knit and read, and force my coworkers to look at pictures of my 8 month old nephew (who is, objectively, the cutest thing on the planet). I look forward to chatting with you all. xxĀ

Hi All,

My name is Matt and I own a couple of practices in West Yorkshire. We have been with Dentally many years and watched it evolve. With it changing constantly I am hoping this forum will all us to get the maximum use from the system and use automations as much as possible to say my staff time.Ā

Hello everyone! šŸ‘‹ I'm Jenny, the owner and lead dentist at Happy Dentistry, based in Melbourne. I've been running my practice for twoĀ years. I'm excited to be part of this community, as I'm always looking for new ways to improve and grow, both personally and professionally.

Iā€™m particularly interested in learning more about how technology can enhance patient experience and streamline practice operations. When I'm not at the clinic, youā€™ll likely find me unwinding by reading and exploring new cafes,

Hi Everyone,Ā

Iā€™m Kim and work as the practice systems support manager for Dental Beauty.Ā  I support 46 practiceĀ with all things Dentally.Ā

My aim is to ensure excellent user experience and compliance across our business with our primary focus being on the patient journey.Ā Ā Ā I work with all our teams to gain the most from the dentally features.

I am looking forward to seeing thisĀ community growĀ šŸ˜Š

HelloĀ šŸ‘‹šŸ»

My name is Annabel and I am a Dental Nurse and Office manager at Market Place Dental in Essex.Ā

We have been using Dentally since 2014 and are keen to know how others use the software.Ā

When I not working I crochet, throw pottery often combining both hobbies in one pieceĀ šŸ˜

Looking forward to being part of the community.Ā

Hi šŸ‘‹ Iā€™m Max, the Software Engineering Team Lead for the Dentally clinical team. I get to work alongside a group of talented software engineers and designers to add and enhance features in and around the clinical experience. For example, you may have seen the recent ability to set a tooth status from the new socket selection menu - https://community.dentally.com/product-updates/new-socket-selection-to-update-tooth-status-121Ā

Ā

One of the most important aspect of my role is working closely with our team, especially our Product team, to read and consider all of your feedback, for which this new community is a great forum. Thereā€™s a Clinical area of Dentally Community here: https://community.dentally.com/clinical-60

Ā

Outside of work, I spend much of my time with my dog, Fudge, seen here in her natural position of waiting (sometimes patiently) for her next treat.

Ā

Fudge the dogĀ šŸ¾

Ā

Hi Max!Ā

Ā

I have the same dogā€¦Ā working cocker?!Ā

Ā

work wise i help our SOE practices make the decision to move to Dentally :)Ā

I have the same dogā€¦Ā working cocker?!Ā

Fudge is a ā€œshowā€ Cocker SpanielĀ and, true to that, she doesnā€™t like the concept of work, walking, water, cold weather, outdoors or our dog walker šŸ˜†

There are already a few pet mentions above, but as people introduce themselves to the Dentally Community, feel free to post a pet (or any other) photo too!Ā @SaymonĀ Maybe once there are a few more members here, we couldĀ have a thread just for pets?

Hi everyone!Ā šŸ˜

Iā€™m Lou, Head of Operations Strategy & Systems at Dental Beauty Partners. Iā€™ve been part of the dental world since I was 18, starting as a dental nurse and moving through roles in training and operations along the way. I was also part of the SOE training team at one point, where I helped practices get the most out of their systems.Ā šŸ˜‹ Iā€™ve been using Dentally for about 4-5 years now, and Iā€™m excited to connect, exchange ideas, and learn from this community.

To unwind, youā€™ll often find me diving into a Netflix series or listening to music (I have an oddly broad tasteā€”from Oasis, Celine Dion, Take ThatĀ right through to country!). Looking forward to meeting everyone here!

Good Afternoon,Ā

Ā

I am Tom, I am the Operations Manager of two family run dental practices across East Yorkshire. I am a self confessed techy geek.Ā

Ā

We joined Dentally back in 2022, moving over from Exact. Bit of a daunting thought losing our old faithful ā€œserverā€ but now we knew it was the right thing to do.Ā

Ā

When I'm not working I am usually at my volunteering role in York as a stage manager at the theatre.Ā
