At the moment, tasks don’t support a threaded back and forth conversation, so it’s hard to keep task-related messages in one place. It would be really helpful to have a private conversation thread that stays linked to the task, visible only to the task creator and the person it’s assigned to.
Use case:
- Creator assigns a task and needs to ask a quick question or share an update
- Assignee replies in the same thread, so the full history stays with the task
- No need to use internal chat for task-specific messages
