Has anyone else experienced anyone booking an appointment via the dentally app in an appointment slot that doesn’t exist? E.g. Tom has an appointment for 60 minutes ( 2pm-3pm) but it’s allowed Tim to book an appointment at 2.30pm via the dentally app (with the same clinician on the same day)

Thanks @JessCV for confirming - we are aware that sometimes two patients may accidentally book the same slot, if they both completed the online booking process at a similar time, and the system hasn’t had a chance to update and show the slot as full. The team is aware of this and is exploring ways to reduce the risk of this happening.

However that should only happen in that narrow window of overlap. If the patient booked the slot last week, the system should show that as full and it shouldn’t be possible for a patient today to book into that slot. If you’re seeing that happen, I’d advise getting in touch with support to provide details and examples so they can look into it.

@JessCV thanks for your question, can you confirm whether you’re referring to Dentally Portal when you say “dentally app”?
