could you conform that denture repairs require the patient to pay a lab fee on the new wales contract?my colleague has a problem when a patient was exempt for exam (over 60 exempt exam only) and he needed to claim a denture repair. having input the lab fee, it did not come up with a charge for the patient for the lab fee unless he took out the age exemption, could you clarify what should be happening please?
Currently the list of medical conditions is long and hard to understand.Could I suggest a drop down list to select from. Also, comon conditions like ADHD and Autism are missing completely. These are both very common and need to be slected as they require different management to other conditions, especially in the chair.
when submitting a course of treatment in Wales that includes an Acorn, it is being rejected if it has ‘prescription of fluoride toothpaste’ in the claim.the prescription is generating a ‘miscellaneous’ claim, which is not ‘compatible’ with the claim.does this item need to be ‘miscellaneous’? could it just have no claim attached so we can use it in a course of treatment?
We recently switched to Dentally and wondering why we can’t have multiple “416” codes?I’ll click of 416 and it REQUIRES me to click a tooth for the treatment plan. Said tooth needs 3 x 416 codes and it won’t allow me to do it. Everytime I try to add the second 416 code, it deletes the first one. I have video proof of this happening. I also waited until the “saved” tab in the corner disappears after adding the first 416 code. The same thing happens with the 418 codes. Please rectify this ASAP!!!
Hi there,Would be so great to have voice perio charting for hygienists?
is there a way to have it stated on an estimate for patients what treatment is private & which is NHS instead of having to open two courses of treatment and print/email two separate estimates? if we can chart NHS and private together it would be handy to be able to print them together clearly so patients understand which is which
When I copy my neat notes from Microsoft Word to dentally , dentally automatically changes my notes to simple font and size. Is there anywhere I can override this? My notes are quite long and neat in dentally it looks all over the place. Many thanks for your support
A suggestion for an automatic email/SMS to patients when their Medical History needs updating, instead of having to do them individually.
For clinicians, to streamline treatment plans, please make it so that when I mark a treatment as complete or charge or submit an NHS claim that it marks the appointment as complete
We have identified an issue whereby selecting the ‘stabilisation’ care package; along with the treatments required for stabilisation stacks the care packages on top of each other. For example 2 extractions and 5 fillings on carious teeth should trigger only the stabilisation care package; but when charting the treatment planned it stacks the simple and extensive restorative packages as well; effectively charging the patient for each care package which is incorrect. The workaround we currently found is to list our own stabilisation treatments and numbered them VHNS1, VHNS2 etc. and set them up as the treatments required on band 1 with the very high needs stabilisation marker. We have set these up for XLA, Fillings, and removal of PRFs for the time being. Is this an oversight in light of the huge changes that have been implemented?Should dentally not ‘see’ the stabilisation package and as such technically ignore further care packages from getting added?
The cost per item and the total payable for the appointment shows only in private treatments. Please adapt to also show for NHS items so patients can be told how much a fee or appointment will cost without manually scrolling to the bottom and adding it up. The current setup works for a UDA system but not for fee per item. This already exists for private items so should be easily adaptable.
Hi,I’m sure that I can’t be the only dentist frustrated with Dentally’s reticence to provide an extra and intraoral Mouth Map… how else can we record oral pathology each time we see our patients? I’ve been regularly asking for this facility since moving from SOE to Dentally in 2020, but to date, no progress! Perhaps the community could help push Dentally’s software development team to facilitate this extremely important function; it seems crazy to have to revert to separate paper-based records!
On Exact, we used to be able to click create and estimate select all COTs and it would generate all estimates accordingly. On dentally not only do you need to do it per COT you have to make sure you've selected the correct estimate type (NHS / Private). Dentally doesn't clearly separate NHS and Private treatment. Having the option to limit / label a COT as private or NHS like what was possible on EXACT would be incredibly helpful.
In SOE Exact, it had a timer that started when you clicked the pt in surgery so you could see how long you’d spent with them. This was a great feature, please can you add it to Dentally
Why is the save button at the bottom so i have to constantly scroll down to see it? The Save and Continue button is unreliable and i prefer to save this way, but the button was moved to make way for the Ai function which is useless to me. Its so annoying.
hi every time an xray is developed an automatic radiographic report appears in my notes, how do i stop this, i already have my own report
I write notes using a dental note taking tool then copy and paste them into Dentally. Now I get a space between each line of my notes which I cannot remove. This did not occur with EXACT.Please can you help fix this?
Hi there, We would like an option as part of the medical history flow, where we could duplicate and update a previous medical history. Patients will frequently have a minor update needed to their medical history. It would save time if we could duplicate the last medical history and then edit, with any recent updates. Rather than having to complete the entire history each time. Thanks,Tom
I would like to request a full day daysheet with the appointment space included to be able to make notes regarding patients in the appointment space.
SOE Exact always adapted the code automatically when charting to avoid mistakes - this will suck up a lot of time
Could you add a feature that turned the banner at the top of the page to the same colour as they’re payment plan? Would make it much clearer if the patient was NHS, Pvt or Denplan at a glance.
Hello, charting a watch and then restoring in the future why does the watch sit ontop of my new restoration i am not watching anymore.why does the watch not go behind my restoration??i dont believe in deleting the watch because that alters the records and then there is no history that i was watching this on the chartplease make the watch go behind my restoration
Hi I had AI notes button on my Dentally log in previously. I disabled it cos I did not have a microphone back then. I now have a new microphone, Could you reintroduce the AI note button on the case note page please? Many thanks
Hi, I had several practitioners ask if we can change certain NHS treatment categories. One example is for the code 716 Denture Reline. it is classed as Other treatment. Would that have an impact on the claims being sent if we change it? I was under the impression that NHS codes are automatically updated by Dentally as per NHS guidance. My change would be done for several sites so I wanted to ask for a second opinion.
Hi ,could I suggest a new feature regarding copy and paste previous notes from 3 or 6 months, when patient have had attended an appt for dental check up or hygienist visit. At the moment it takes time to highlight everything and paste it .I think lots of clinicians would benefit from it. Many thanks and kind regards,Ewelina Bach
