We’ve noticed that some tooth descriptions on children’s treatment estimates appear to be incorrect. For example, a deciduous C tooth is described as an incisor rather than a canine, while D and E teeth are described as premolars instead of molars. We spotted this when preparing an estimate for a child patient.
We prefer estimates to use patient-friendly tooth names rather than charting codes such as ULE, but the descriptions need to be accurate. Could you please investigate whether the names used for primary teeth can be corrected?
We’ve also noticed that estimates describe the UL6, UL7 and UL8 as “upper left molar” without distinguishing between them. If a patient needs treatment on all three teeth, this can make the estimate look as though we’ve listed treatment for the same tooth three times. Is it possible to show “first molar”, “second molar” and “third molar” for example on estimates?
