I’d like to suggest a tab next to the courses of treatment (COT) on the patient’s chart for miscellaneous codes, where incomplete or proposed treatment codes can be copied into without opening a new course of treatment.
It would be helpful so that when we submit COT where the patient failed to return, uncharged codes would be copied over when a cot is submitted. It would allow us to keep track of which treatment was still to be completed, or was discussed at a previous appt. If the codes aren’t on a COT, It would also keep the ‘Unfinished treatments’ and ‘unbooked treatments’ tabs in the reports clear of work that isn’t being pursed for the moment.
