Hi team,We have noticed some significant gaps/issues with using Treatment Plan reporting effectively.1) Our clinical team has flagged that when treatments are marked as “complete”, they disappear into the “history” and its really clunky/difficult to see clearly what their previous treatment was, as you have to trawl through many lines to find it. It should be accessibile much more quickly than that. Happy to ask the team for some suggestions but there must be a better way to do this? As a result, because it is so clunky to use, our team have been choosing not to mark treatments as ‘complete’, as they will be unable to find them easily - causing our Treatment Planning reporting to be completely ineffective (as the data is incorrect)There needs to be a way in treatment plans/treatment plan reporting to record treatment plans that have “Expired” (eg its been more than 6 mths, prices have changed/treatment needed may have changed due to the time lapse), and also a flag for treatment plans
Description: We’d like the calendar to automatically show only practitioners scheduled to work on the selected day.Currently, this requires manual selection via the eye icon, which must be updated daily as clinician availability changes. This feature would:Save time for reception teams Reduce manual errors Provide a clearer daily viewEspecially useful for practices with frequently changing clinician schedules.
we have some patients who come privately for initial appt and then wish to change to denplan if they need a lot of treatment carried out as we offer discount. it would be helpful to be able to move the treatment plan to denplan pricing without having to rechart is this possible. has anyone a work around
Please dentally! Practice owner is wondering why our old PMS system built on windows 95 platform has better financial reporting than dentallyGST report that is actually functional Lab Reporting - there is none only lab trackingAnnual Financial reports that allow for month by month production, income, discounts, writeoffs, per practitioner
I think this has been requested before. Im looking for a report that pulls diary utilisation for a month in arrears. That only displays hours available. A great report snapshot in SOE to reference to is monthly analysis 👌 where I could see FTAs, Diary % Utilisation & hourly rate per clinician in one report. Currently in dentally I cant pull some of these figures or im having to run reports individually per clinician, very time consuming. Happy to be contacted if more context is needed. Thanks, Laura
Hi All,Using dentally since July 2025. In previous PMS we were able to do financial reports for a whole year that gave month by month totals for each practitioner and do on spreadsheet. I realise that one can print a month report for production etc in dentally but is there anyway to do a financial year by month? If there is not this is yet another issue with dentally financial reporting...no decent GST reporting either.
Please can all Dentist have total no of UDAs submitted on the dashboard … it will make things easy
Would love some guidance on how to edit a previously charted filling when during treatment the surfaces involved change, eg; an occlusal cavity planned for an occlusal restoration extends to become a DO. Currently we find we have to delete the initial item and re-chart. This is a faff but also not medico legally prudent as it changes the point of diagnoses.
Hi I have mentioned this to support before but nothing has come of it. When setting up an automation rule, espcially for emails or sms, the trigger event seems to be based solely on the start or finish time of an appointment time.Whilst this might be useful to some, it fails in some areas. What would be more logical and extremely helpful to practices is if an email an automation rule can be setup to send an email or sms a certain number of minutes or hours AFTER an appointment has been BOOKED.The rationale behind this is quite simple. We might book an emergency appointment in 30 minutes time where we have a gap. At present the automation rule will send an email a certain amount of time before the actual appointment but there is no consistency in when it will be sent because the time is soon approaching for the appointment OR it could be in 1 month time. The downside of this is that the patient wont receive e.g. the confirmation of appointment email until several weeks later (if t
Hi Dentally Team, I recently attended your stand at the Dentistry show. A team member named Blair actually rang me and told me to speak to rick gay in which I did. My details were taken down and whilst I understand you’re very busy with a lot of requests, I’d really like this request to get seen to. Please let me know, Danny CEO
Hi, I have a couple of large reports that are not fully loading and constantly spinning. How do I stop / cancel them so I can start again? Many thanksd
Hi I notice dentally stopped letting me unlock the notes after charging. this is within an hour after treatment has not been completed.i have tried everything
Is there a way to forward all NHS 111 referrals to dentally mail? So, we can pick up 111 referrals straight away rather than toggling between windows.
Are there any plans to add the UDA tracker as is in EXACT to dentally ?- much needed
Would it be possible to create the % of unstable pocket depths on the perio chart as well as bleeding, which you have recently added. I have to physically get the calculator out to work out pockets of 4mm bleeding on probing or above.I’m sure lots of hygienists and periodontists would appreciate thisThank you
The api docs have NHS and PPS number field for UK and Ireland but not one for Medicare (Australia) that i can see of. Coming from a legacy system which did not record medicare expiry date, the migration to Dentally meant the medicare number was inserted into notes, while the IRN (individual ref number) inserted into Health Fund Patient ID field. We are updating the Medicare number of patients and could not easily update it into the Medicare number field because of the lack of API endpoints. I hope this is in the works soon.
We have just started with Dentally and chose is specifically for the Xero integration. As a dental prosthetic clinic we have only a few items that include GST. When going over to Xero it seems to default as GST Exclusive, even for a day where no items with GST were charged. I can manually alter this in Xero but that seems clunky and not a true “integration”.A bigger problem I am having is a day where we did three transactions, two which were GST free and one that included GST but in Xero GST has been charged on the total which is not correct, and the only way I can see to fix it is to redo the invoice with the days transactions individually, but again this seems like a lot of manual work when it should just do it correctly in the first place. Has anyone had similar issues with the Xero integration? How did you fix it or manage this? Thanks
Just as deposit , Dentaly should have a refund button instead of creating negative payments. It will keep trail cleaner and also stripe payments should be able to refund via click
HI Team,I have requested a partnership request via this form https://www.dentally.com/en-gb/integrations/become-a-partner to gain access to the Dentally API a couple of weeks ago and haven’t received a confirmation or response. Is there a way I can confirm the request has been received? Many thanksTegan
is there an action that lets pop up notes to be seen on the day calender, before clicking on a patient profile. Just a hover
Hi, Anyone with NHS Sedation contract using dentally to transmit claims? How to make sure correct number of episode are sent on to compass? Our number of episodes never matched with compass..Thanks
Has anyone else experienced anyone booking an appointment via the dentally app in an appointment slot that doesn’t exist? E.g. Tom has an appointment for 60 minutes ( 2pm-3pm) but it’s allowed Tim to book an appointment at 2.30pm via the dentally app (with the same clinician on the same day)
It would be great if the charting for base and treatment planning was much simpler with icons for the regular work that is completed next to the teeth in charting.
I request that the product design team add a feature within Kiosk/Concierge. We implemented Kiosk last week following the product launch, but so far it does not seem to have the desired effect. As patients do not always fill out their forms online, the system does not decrease the reception workload; it simply adds another step to the check-in process because patients report to reception immediately afterward to complete their forms. Here are a few practical suggestions: Integrated Forms: Add an option to make forms a part of the kiosk experience. This will ensure there is no duplication of work. Directional Messaging: Alternatively, add the option to set up a message following the concierge flow. Currently, attempting to do forms already checks patients in, thereby bypassing the whole purpose of a Kiosk. A configurable "Welcome" or direction message would allow the practice to direct patients to complete their forms. Payments: If there is a provision for us to take payments during c
HI we are having problems with generating a miscellaneous claims in the new Wales contract, the ‘acute mucosal conditions’ and ‘re cement inlay’ do not generate a miscellaneous treatment package, so we are having to use other codes to generate this, however this is not accurate for what we are doing. could this be corrected or should we be doing something else?
