Do Dentally have any plans to integrate with WhatsApp, it can be easier to manager (And cheaper than SMS) a few of our patients say they dont use SMS.

Our teams are currently exploring a range of messaging integrations (including WhatsApp 😊), but we’re still very early in the process, so I don’t have any firm timelines to share just yet. Things can change quickly as we scope feasibility and compliance.

 

In the meantime, if you have any specific volume estimates or feature requests (e.g. two-way chat, group messaging, automated flows), please let me know here and I’ll feed them back to our product team. I’ll keep the Community updated as soon as there’s something more concrete to share 😉

This would be fantastic for us, we’re in a rural area and patients often don’t receive SMS due to lack of signal. A few of our patients have mentioned if this is a possibility.

Hi all! I'm the PM of the team for our patient communications features.

We have seen a lot of enthusiasm for bringing WhatsApp messaging to Dentally, and we really appreciate you taking the time to share that with us.

Right now we are prioritising improvements to the existing patient communications features you already have, rather than adding new channels. Because of that, WhatsApp is not on our roadmap in the short term, while we focus on strengthening what you already use.

We would still like to hear how you would use WhatsApp in practice. If you are open to sharing your use cases, that helps us weigh demand against our other priorities.
