I would be great if there was an option to send short notice lists via email rather than sms, also options to select what days/times appointment the pt would like to be notified for!
Please can there be a setting on the online booking list to organise patients in time order of when they booked so it is easier to monitor and we know if we have checked a patient or not
Adding a Duration filter to Appointment reports would make it easier to identify appointments above a specified length. This would be particularly useful for Dental Therapists who perform both Exams and Hygiene appointments. If a Hygiene appointment is mistakenly booked as an Exam, it could trigger incorrect recall automation. By filtering for appointments in the report with a minimum duration (e.g. a typical Hygiene appointment duration), users could quickly identify and correct these booking errors before they affect patient recalls.
Please add a 'Fit Day to Screen' or 'Compressed Timeline' diary view. Reception staff need to see the entire working day for multiple practitioners at a glance to identify availability without scrolling. This functionality existed in systems like SOE and greatly improves diary management.
Description:At the moment, we have to manually select sections and copy and paste to carry forward monitoring points from the last visit. A one-click “duplicate last clinical note/history” button would save a lot of time and help ensure nothing is missed.Suggested workflow:Open a patient’s clinical notes Click “Duplicate last note” (or similar) The previous note is inserted into a new note for today, ready to amendThis would be especially useful for ongoing monitoring (e.g. “still monitoring X”, “reassess Y”).
When corresponding with patient’s, it would be nice to be able to refer to them not just by name but with (he or she). The option of which pronoun they prefer could be included within the medical history or elsewhere within the program.Kindly let us know if this has or will be addressed.
Hi, Is there any way to see a log of changes that have been made to a specific appointment, eg if the appointment has been moved last minute (but not cancelled) or if the time of the appointment has been lengthened. On SOE there was a function where all the changes to a specific appointment were logged. It is very helpful when there is a patient who is a constantly cancelling or changing appointments last minute as it provides evidence. Many thanksMarian, Bupa Windsor
Hi all, I'm Luke, a product designer working with the Dentally team. We're reworking one of the parts of Dentally you spend the most time in: writing up your clinical notes, and we'd love your input to help shape it.We're keen to hear from NHS and private practices from any region.Who I'm looking forDentally users who write up (or help write up) clinical notes day to day: dentists, associates and nurses. You don't need to be a power user or have any technical knowledge. If you've ever rushed to finish notes between patients, hunted back through a patient's history to find an old note, or had a view on templates and custom fields, you're exactly who I want to hear from.I'm keen to hear from a mix, dentists and nurses, people who type everything out and people who live in custom fields, because how each of you works isn't always the same, and the notes need to work for all of it.What's involvedA short, informal video call, 30 to 45 minutes, where I show you some early designs and you tel
Hi,When an NHS patient is exempt because they claim Pension Credit / Universal Credit etc - the GP17 form asks if this is the patient or someone else who qualifies for the benefit. When it is the patient there should be a box to tick to state it is the patient.Instead it then asks to type the patient name and DOB or National Insurance number. If this is the patient then this is so time consuming and very annoying. If the patient is the one who claims the benefit we should be able to just tick the box and not have to type out all their information again.
When patients have 2 consecutive appointments in one day, they are receiving 2 txt messages. The second text has on the later apt time and numerous patients see that and ignore the first one. There needs to be an automation to ensure that patients with consecutive apts only recieve one sms. It is costing us more in txts and in missed chair time. Does anyone have a solution for this?
We are having issues when patients are completing their FP17 at home on the portal, and either not marking an exemption or wrong exemption. If it is under 25 over 60 as this does not come up on list of exemptions as it is not a permanent exemption so there is no way at all to solve this, if you invalidate the FP17 it is not reissuing the form to the portal, and then the patient automatically comes up with a charge. If the exemption is wrong and we invalidate it it still does not send to the portal even in if a COT has not been planned.I do feel practices need to be able to invalidate and reissue when the patient attends its causing a lot of time to be spent trying to figure out as admin how to rectify it and then for clinicians in practice who presume the patient form is correct. If we could simply send a new form to the clinipad on arrival it would solve all the issues. If we get a paper FP17 signed this will not serve any purpose as it will not change the charges on the record for the
What seems to be a new update, putting the dentally support in a bubble on the bottom right of the page. Please can we get an option to remove this and keep the support where it was.
Hi all, just wondering if you have a practice plan and how you pay your associates in regard to this? We are having to create a penny payment and then charge an invoice through as a penny - very confusing. Thank you :)
It would be very helpful to have a group messaging option like there used to be on SOE Exact.
Hi Has anybody been able to report on items in custom fields on the radiograph treatment item? We are looking to report on how many small radiographs had “acceptable” in the evaluation box etc.Our x-ray images are stored on a separate system to Dentally so Ellie bot’s suggestion of using the radiograph audit report would not work.Thank you
Hi Are there any sedation checklist custom screens available on Dentally, or have any other services had one created? We currently use a paper form (see attached) and want to use a digital version. Thank you.
We are wanting to add a QR code that links back to a feedback questionnaire to some of our letter templates but Dentally does not support this. Dentally support has suggested adding the QR code to already created letters in Word but this is not really an effective solution for us. Could this be added as a development feature please?
Could I suggest doubling the size of the signature box on dentally portal for tablets. Many patients have difficulty signing within the box, or don’t even notice it so the medical history times out
Good morning, When we signed up to Dentally Vision a while back now we were told that it was being worked on to import all of our older X-Rays from DBS Win software into Dentally Vision - We haven’t heard anything for a while but were told that it was actively being worked on at the time of signing up. Is there any news regarding this? Many thanks,Fran
Hi Dentally Team, I hope you’re well I’m Ahmad co-founder of Clero, an AI Receptionist for dental practices. We have requested access through this form a few months ago https://www.dentally.com/en-gb/integrations/become-a-partner, and I’ve resubmitted again today since we didn’t hear back the first time.Do you know when we can hear back to become official partners? Many thanks,Ahmad Abdelaal
Hi! I have noticed there was an update with the way dentally displays images that are attached to emails. While it is nice having a thumbnail of the image displayed, it is now more tedious/difficult to download these images. Previously, you could click on the image name and it would automatically download from dentally. Now, you have to click on a teeny tiny little arrow on the bottom right hand side of the image thumbnail, select “download” or “preview” (since these options do the same thing), the image will then open in a new browser tab, and from there you will need to right click the image and save as. Is there any way this can be circumvented or rectified? Even if the “download” option actually downloaded the image properly, the options are very small and it is easy to accidentally select the wrong thing from the drop down!
We have moved from exact to dentally and we are finding it quite clunky. I wondered if anyone had found an easier way to view the appointment book, In exact you could open it and see gaps no problem. In dentally we are having to scroll through the days or use the search which isn't exactly ideal and its just all quite a faff. Or an easier way to process refunds - Having to release deposits and put it on as a negative payment or invoice. It just very long winded. Thanks
Hi Dentally team,I submitted a partner / marketplace request for Aimee LLC on 2 July, but I haven’t received a confirmation or response yet. We’re building Aimee, an AI phone receptionist for dental practices. Aimee helps front-desk teams handle missed and after-hours calls, answer basic patient questions, and book or reschedule appointments directly in the practice management system. We would like to build the Dentally integration correctly and safely from day one, so I wanted to check:1. Has our partner request been received?2. Is there a way to get access to a Dentally sandbox practice for API testing?3. What is the correct process for API credentials and partner approval? For the first stage, read-only access to patients, appointments, practitioners, locations, and appointment types would be enough. Later, we would like to test appointment create/update/cancel in sandbox only.Company: Aimee LLCWebsite: [REDACTED]Contact: [REDACTED] / [REDACTED]Thanks,Aleksandr
The system does not allow for GP17 part 2 to be signed when a treatment plan is finished on the tablets. It makes users in Scotland a high risk for having claims rejected which could massively impact on earnings. This should be addressed as an immediate issue please. Other systems flag when a plan is finishing and prompts for a second signature.
Is there any submission/progress for existing patients to use the online booking portal for booking outstanding treatment?
