Being able to edit/complete notes after a patient has been charged will help improve communication between surgeries and reception staff.
It’s becoming an increasing issue with patient being charged wrong by reception team as clinicians aren’t charging when they leave the surgery due to being unable to complete their notes once they’ve finished treatment.
A good idea would be that clinicians can charge patient, but still be able to complete notes for a short period of time after charging.
