New to our community?

Hello and welcome to the Dentally Community! ✨

We're thrilled to have you join our online community dedicated to all things Dentally. Whether you're a seasoned user or just getting started with Dentally, our community will help you connect with your peers and learn along the way.

Here are six tips to get you started:

1. Complete your profile information

Everybody likes to know who they are speaking to. By adding more information to your profile, you are more likely to receive quicker replies from other users.

To complete your profile information, go to the "My Profile" page. On this page, you can add:

  • A profile picture
  • A signature (a sentence which will be displayed at the bottom of all of your posts)
  • The country and the specific location you are writing from
  • The name of your dental practice and your role
  • A bit more about yourself for others to see

2. One-on-one support for complex issues

For complex issues requiring personalised assistance, please use our Chat Support feature in Dentally. While our community is a great resource for general questions and peer advice, it's not designed for in-depth, tailored support. Our dedicated Dentally support team is ready to assist you directly through Chat Support for any complex or account-specific concerns.

3. Search before you start a new topic

The question you are asking may have been asked before. Because of this, we recommend that you search the community before you ask a new question or start a discussion. You can find the search bar at the top of every page in our community. Should you not be able to find the information that you are looking for, feel free to create a new topic as explained in this article.

4. Be detailed when you describe your question or issue

Should you have a question or issue, please try to include as much information as possible. This will help other users to understand exactly what you want to know. You can even add images and attachments to your question, but remember to not share private information!

5. Be patient and don't spam

Your question may not be answered by the right user straight away so in this case we ask that you avoid sharing the same question in several topics. It can also get confusing for other users if your specific question is not related to the topic you are asking it in.

6. Remember our community guidelines

Our community is there for everyone and we want to make sure that the community offers a positive experience for all visitors. Because of this, we have established these general guidelines as well as our Terms and Conditions which all users should be aware of.

  • Be friendly

Users must treat one another with respect. Do not use coarse language, make inappropriate jokes, harass other users, or post any form of discriminatory or otherwise insulting comments as this will not be tolerated.

  • Stay on topic

Try not to change the subject of a discussion to something not intended by the original poster.

  • No commercial use

Please refrain from advertising or selling products or services as well as the sending of commercial messages (spam), the offering of (interactive) games or the advertising of other chat forums or websites.

  • No sharing of private information (PII)

Please also keep personal information (telephone numbers, email addresses, etc.) of yourself, other people or companies private.

  • No multiple accounts

This community only allows one account per user. If the Community Team detects double accounts all secondary accounts will be banned.

  • Moderator actions

The Community Team reserves the right to change or remove content or to restrict access to individual users, should it be regarded as necessary. For any specific queries, requests to change your username, or account-related issues, you can reach out to the Community Team at community@dentally.com

Lastly, we hope you enjoy being a part of our community! We look forward to having you.
