Is it possible to assign tasks to multiple people rather than setting sub tasks?
Is anyone else experiencing issues with the task reminder messages that Dentally automatically sends to patients? They’re not working perfectly for us but costing us.
We often send feedback requests/ aftercare instructions/ tx plas to patients post appointment but prefer to not bombard them with estimates/invoices emails all at the once. Is there an option to schedule emails so they can be sent at more strategic times of the day when patients are likely to respond ? Bit like the gmail boomergang?
Hey just a few suggestions for improving the app.1. There is no lock screen/patient mode for the concierge app so that patients can click off it and click on anything else on the tablets..2. For the NHS PR form any chance we can write something along the lines of "Choose 1 option for the person having the appointment"We have a lot of parents clicking under 18 and then scrolling down and clicking universal credit as that is what they are on and obviously it changes the option.3.Can we have a payment locking option. We have patients that pay a deposit for certain appointments and we need it to lock rather than be in credit.:)
Where does everyon source Dentally training for New Team Members? Does the Academy still exist?
Hi everyone, we’re looking to label treatments on our treatment plans more effectively to differentiate between those that require immediate attention and those that are part of a second phase of care or proactive/preventative treatment. While we can rename the appointment numbers on the plan, the titles don’t seem to reflect these changes when the plan is printed. Does anyone know a workaround or a way to customise the printed plan to show these distinctions clearly?
We have previously instructed the team to explain all transactions, including deposits, to ensure that incorrect deposits are not linked when a new invoice comes in. However, they are frequently forgetting to unlink and match the deposits to the correct invoices. I would love to hear how you are managing this @Lesley Morgan-Barlowx
Hi, has anyone noticed if Dentally is accurately selecting the correct patients for the recall list? I'm experiencing issues at two sites, and Dentally support has identified a bug that's costing us, especially since we've enabled some automations for recalls and patient communication.
I’m curious to learn about how other practices are structuring their appointments. Are you still operating separate hygiene and examination appointments, or have you moved towards therapist-led exams? 😉
With the launch of our new appointment search function, I’m keen to understand how sites are managing diary zones to make sure they're hitting financial goals while seeing patients promptly as well as keeping practitioners happy.I usually stand by the blend of the 3 P’s - Patient, Practitioner & Practice, by taking each into consideration you can achieve the perfect day across your practice. To break down the diary zones into its basic format I normally suggest starting with the below zone groups:- Emergency- Recalls- New Patient consultations- TreatmentI’m keen to understand what other sites are doing to Zone out the diary or what's stopping you from zoning yours out.@Lesley Morgan-Barlow & @Esther Egan I know you both have a great set-ups for making sure each day hits your targeted day rate to ensure success but what does everyone else look at when organising this space?
Hi, I was thinking of upgrading plan and I was interested to hear experience on lock in e.g is it possible to upgrade from standard to advanced and if I don’t feel the benefits in a few months can I downgrade back to standard easily?
Does anyone know if there is an unallocated payments report?
Enhancing patient experience can be quite a challenge! What are the key barriers you encounter in your practice that prevent you from taking your patient care to the next level and how do you think Dentally can help you overcome these obstacles?Share your experiences and ideas! 💡
Hi, what are the guidelines for customising email signatures to be more on brand and match that of our main email system, or ideally, will Dentally ever integrate with Office 365.for example as a mail relay so it's all handled in one place?I am keen to tailor the messaging and offers on the patient Comms as we send most of this out through Dentally to existing patients. Thanks

Good morning all,I’m wondering if there is any ‘work around’ regarding family members who share mobile/email addresses to enable them to each use the Dentally Portal. A particular issue we have is with for example a parent whose mobile and email details are shared with a child/children. I believe this means that only the parent can have a Dentally Portal login which therefore prevents the parent from booking their child’s appointments online/signing NHS forms in advance etc? I would be grateful to hear if there are any ways around this or have I misunderstood something? Many thanksKate
