Hey @amz,

To search for a de-registered or archived patient in Dentally, you’ll need to add an asterisk * before the patient’s name when using the search bar.

For example, if you’re looking for John Smith, you would type:

*John Smith

This tells Dentally to include archived records in the search results.

If the record was merged with another patient, you can also check the merged note on the active record. That note will show which patient it was merged with and the relevant ID. You can then search for that patient ID in the Patients report to locate the original source record.

Let me know if you can’t find what you’re looking for. 😊
