Hi,

When we used to remove a clinician, we used to have the option on our previous system to allocate all registered patients under that clinician to another clinician.

This doesn't appear the case in Dentally.

We are told to go to the patients tab and change the allocated dentist, this for clinicians who have a lot of patients would be ridiculous to expect admin staff to do.

That or you create a report of that clinicians patients and inform Dentally so they can move the patients in batch.

A really poor process.

Dentally needs to add the ability to allocate patients when archiving a clinician to a current clinician

Hey @Jordan

///

Updated for clarity: at the moment this can only be done by our Support team. Will update the post with more info soon!

I understand you want this to happen automatically when you remove a user. I’m going to share it to our product team and see if it’s something we’ve considered. 😊

This isn’t the case.

It doesnt show, we have to create the report and the support team have to do the bulk update. I have just tried your steps and also the support team have clarified it can’t be done in house and must be done by dentally support

Hi @Jordan,

Sorry for the confusion! It might be due to the way your system was configured or perhaps it’s something we haven’t yet enabled for all practices. Let me have a chat with our product team and I’ll come back to you!

Thank you,

If that could be done it would be great,

But yes it would be an ideal feature to allow this to happen when archiving a clinician

Hey Jordan!

I’ve talked to our product team and for now we are not planning to make this available to our customers. However, this might change in the future. I’ll keep this thread updated and share any additional info.

I’ll also add your request to make it happen automatically when archiving a clinician, that makes a lot of sense, and I’ll make sure to highlight it to our team.

Thanks again for sharing your feedback!
