Please consider creating a % discount option all our old softwares has this feature. We do 20% off the gap for kids under 18 and 10% for pensioners. We have a number of young staff who struggle to work out percentages on a calculator and this is causing errors with accounts.

Thanks for the suggestion. This has come up from a few practices before, particularly around improving how discounts work overall.
I’ll check in with the team on the current status and make sure this feedback is captured. I believe there is some work going on in this area but I’ll have to double check 😊

I’ve had a chat with the team on this. Percentage-based discounts are something we’re very aware of and it’s come up before, particularly around reducing manual calculations and minimising errors.
At the moment, the team is focused on other areas and this isn’t currently scheduled for development. That said, I’ve made sure your specific use case (20% for under 18s and 10% for pensioners) is captured alongside the existing feedback.
If there’s any movement in this area in future, I’ll update the thread.
