Is it possible to display dentally id number when doing patient search as he have a large cohort of patients who share same name as another patient registered with us. We correspond with laboratories via dentally id number but finding right patient when we receive correspondence from them can take time especially when there are several patients with same name

At the moment the Dentally ID isn’t shown in the patient search results list, so if you’re searching by name you’ll only see things like name, DOB and phone number. That said, you can search directly by the Dentally ID in the search bar and it should bring up the correct patient straight away.
I’m going to pass this on as feedback to the product team as displaying the ID in the search results would help in situations like yours where multiple patients share the same name 😊
