Can we please have medical alert icons appear in the calendar view of appointment bookings?
We have had an instance of a patient who came in for his appointment but had to be turned away and rescheduled due his needing antibiotic prophylaxis which had not been administered.
His medical needs are noted when you open his profile, but because no one opened his profile in advance of his appointment the doctor had not been alerted to prepare an antibiotic script in advance. If it was obvious from the calendar view, I believe the issue would have been avoided.
This is useful for individuals requiring ABs, anxious patients, and those with latex or chlorhexidine allergies.
