When an NHS patient is exempt because they claim Pension Credit / Universal Credit etc - the GP17 form asks if this is the patient or someone else who qualifies for the benefit. When it is the patient there should be a box to tick to state it is the patient.
Instead it then asks to type the patient name and DOB or National Insurance number. If this is the patient then this is so time consuming and very annoying. If the patient is the one who claims the benefit we should be able to just tick the box and not have to type out all their information again.
