It would be helpful to allow when saving/printing previous day lists that the list shows the patients who are in the diary but have failed to attend the appointment.

This would be a useful feature.  I think there is a way of doing it with the Patient Report function but its a bit more complicated.  An easy to use report like the daily takings where you can add a date filter, would be very useful so we can straight away see all DNAs for e.g. month of August.

We can find FTAs in the report, but when producing day lists which we use for invoices sometimes it doesn't show that appointment in the day list. and gives you no option to show or hide these appointments.

What would be amazing if we can easily add to the list / report, an option to see all those patients who have cancelled their appointment in the last 24 hours or 48 hours (perhaps one or two check boxes to include in the filter) as we’re starting to crack down on those persistent offenders and deregister them.

This should be regarded different to the patients report as a quick and dirty way to see FTAs and late cancellations can be invaluable data.

Hey both! 👋

Thanks for the feedback! We have a few requests for improvements on day list printing but I haven’t found anything specific to this as you’re asking for print/save that can include FTAs/DNAs for the day and optional filters to surface late cancellations in the last 24–48 hours.

Currently the printed Day list is a simple snapshot of who’s due in; there isn’t a toggle to include DNAs/late cancels.  Dentally will auto-mark DNAs at the end of the day if a patient was never marked Arrived, so the status exists for reporting.

To list FTAs or late cancels now, you can use the Appointments report: pick your date type (Appointment or Booked), set Status to Did Not Attend and/or Cancelled, and export if needed. This is also how you can get a quick month view (e.g., all August DNAs).

I’ve logged this as a Day list enhancement with our product team so you can:

  • tick Include DNAs/FTAs and Include late cancellations (last 24/48h) before printing/saving;

  • optionally add columns (e.g., Cancellation reason).

We already have a separate request to improve printed day lists (treating dentist); I’ll keep this new ask tracked alongside it but distinct so we don’t lose either. 😊

To help our product designers, would you want DNAs/late cancels included by default, or as an opt-in tick box each time? And which columns matter most on the printout (reason, contact number, practitioner)?
