+2We regularly have an issue with receptionists deleting appointments instead of cancelling them. When an appointment is deleted, we lose the record of why it was removed, whether it was cancelled by the patient or by the practice, and any associated notes.
Would it be possible to add a permission setting that allows administrators to prevent users from deleting appointments, while still allowing them to cancel appointments? This would help maintain a clear audit trail and improve record keeping.

It’s a good suggestion, we sometimes face the same issue but we strictly tell staff not to delete appointments for that exact reason i.e. we lose the audit trail of why an appointment has been cancelled and I’ve taken staff to task when they have done that.
Have you created a list of cancellation reasons that they can select from a drop down list from when they right click on the calander? Here is our list.

+2I’ve done all of the above and still find that appointments have been deleted. Maybe if I add more cancelation reasons that might help. Thank you for your suggestions
