As a Level 4 user, I would like the ability to change the date of an existing payment without having to delete and recreate it.
At present, if a payment is entered with the wrong date, the only option is to:
- Unallocate the payment.
- Delete the payment.
- Enter the payment again with the correct date.
- Reallocate it to the relevant treatment or invoices.
This is a time-consuming process for what is often a simple data entry correction. It also increases the risk of mistakes when reallocating payments.
Allowing Level 4 users to edit the payment date while keeping all allocations intact would:
- Save time for practice staff.
- Reduce unnecessary administrative work.
- Minimise the risk of allocation errors.
- Improve efficiency without compromising security, as the permission would be restricted to high-level users.
