When patients have 2 consecutive appointments in one day, they are receiving 2 txt messages. The second text has on the later apt time and numerous patients see that and ignore the first one. There needs to be an automation to ensure that patients with consecutive apts only recieve one sms. It is costing us more in txts and in missed chair time. Does anyone have a solution for this?

Data tag [appointment_time_all_with_practitioner] gives the two appointments in one text message. Also check your message is within the limit for one text message. I found this by asking Dentally support and is working great.

Thank you sooo much for this, I asked dentally support and they said they couldn’t help and sent me here … I’m glad they did, thanks again :)

Duplicate alerts are so frustrating and can definitely cause confusion. It's all about streamlining communication. I use Taskai on my Android to manage my own notification overload so I only see the reminders that actually need my attention.
