Hi, first time posting and this may have been asked already but….does anyone else have a problem when booking an impressions appointment it shows as “null” in the diary? The dentist always requests the appointments and we book as linked appointments, but we’re finding that even though it shows as “impressions” on the patient chart it shows as “null” in the diary. We’ve checked our settings and can’t see a problem. If we then double click on the appointment it will change and show the correct information, but as soon as we click on someone else or refresh the diary it will revert to null.

Any ideas gratefully received as it’s driving us mad! TIA

Welcome to the Dentally Community 😊! Sorry to hear you’re having trouble with impressions appointments showing as “null” in the diary. It seems the appointment details are correct in the patient chart, but the diary display isn’t updating properly unless you double-click on it.

 

A couple of things you might try:

• Double-check your diary settings in the practice settings to see if there’s a configuration that might be affecting how appointment types are displayed.

• Have a look at the appointment’s audit log (by clicking the ‘Edit’ button and then the clock icon) to see if it offers any clues about what’s happening.

• If you continue to see the “null” display after a refresh, it might be a technical glitch that requires further investigation
