Hi @Anne-Maree Siderides,
Thanks for sharing that feedback! If your practice is using Dentally Portal, Apple Pay should already be available for deposits. There aren’t any additional steps required on your end to enable it. It might be a good idea to double-check your booking settings to ensure everything is configured correctly.
For more details, please take a look at our blog post: Dentally Revolutionises Online Payments with Apple Pay Integration and Enhanced Checkout Experience
And our Help Centre article: Can patients use Google Pay and Apple Pay when paying online?
We’re continuously working to make booking as seamless as possible, especially for mobile users on the go. Let me know if you have any further questions or need additional support!
Thanks Saymon for that info - is that for UK practices though? I am in Australia and when I asked Dentally support chat, they said apple pay wasn’t available?
You would need to set up stripe to enable this here in Australia : )
Hope that helps :)
Hmm thanks for sharing this! Now I am confused as the support member on Dentally chat said Apple pay is not enabled in Aus! I’ll have to take a look into it again after seeing your screenshot
Hi @Anne-Maree Siderides,
I’m sorry for the confusion around Apple Pay! Just to clarify, Apple Pay is available for deposits as long as you have a Stripe account set up, which is required to use deposits in Dentally. This applies whether you’re in Australia or the UK. The only thing to note is that the payment method will work only if it’s supported on your patients’ device or chosen browser.
It seems there might have been a mix-up in the support chat, so I hope this clears things up. Please let me know if you need any more help or further clarification!
