Create patient in Dentally using Zapier

Hi there, 

I’m trying to create a patient in Dentally from a Zap. The zap will pull patient data from a form on our website and then create that patient in Dentally. 

The first part is working correctly pulling the form data via a webhook, however the patient creation step isn’t working. I’m using the Dentally 1.3.0 version in Zapier.

I’ve tried multiple variants for submitting patient data, including copying data straight out of Dentally (so that the target field matches), but whenever I test it, it returns:

“Failed to create a patient in Dentally (1.3.0)

The app returned "The patient could not be processed".”

I wanted to check:

  1. is the Dentally Zapier app still supported?
  2. Any ideas on general issues with creating patients?
  3. Am I better using the API?

We had a similar issue. Please help us resolve it if possible.
I can't contact customer support because I keep getting a bot that can't connect me to an operator.

Hey again ​@Humera Younis,

I’ve actually had a quick chat with our support team and they’ve confirmed that for the Dentally Zapier integration, the two events you can select are "appointment updated" and "new appointment" so a new patient record cannot be created from Zapier into Dentally right now.
