Hi Dentally team,

We’re currently working with a number of practices who use Dentally and are exploring ways to streamline appointment workflows through external automation tools.

I understand that partnerships are currently on hold, but I wanted to ask whether it’s possible to gain access to a Dentally sandbox environment for testing purposes, ideally with read-only API access to appointment and patient data.

We’re not looking to make any changes within Dentally itself, just to better understand how data flows and how we might support mutual clients in the future.

Any guidance or direction on how to proceed with sandbox access would be greatly appreciated.

Our partnership team will be able to help you understand what we offer and if it’s possible to set up a sandbox environment. The quickest route is to drop your details on our Partner/Developer form 

If you want to start having a look around sooner, any practice you’re piloting with can issue you a read-only API token from their Settings → Developer Settings screen; scope it to patient:read and appointment:read and you’ll see the live data structure without risking changes. 😊

Request for API Sandbox Access to Enhance DentPulse Integrations for Dentally Users

 

I'm reaching out on behalf of DentPulse — our financial intelligence platform built specifically for UK dental practice owners. A number of our clients currently use Dentally, and we’re exploring ways to help them connect their clinical activity to financial outcomes more seamlessly.

While we understand that new partnerships may be on pause, we’re not requesting formal integration or co-promotion. Instead, we’re hoping to gain read-only access to a Dentally sandbox environment — specifically to test how appointment and patient data flows work in practice.

This would allow us to simulate workflows and better understand how DentPulse could support Dentally users in tracking revenue by treatment, chair, or associate — without writing to or modifying Dentally data in any way.

Would it be possible to obtain sandbox credentials for this limited scope?

Any guidance on how best to proceed would be hugely appreciated.

The best way to get in contact with our partnership team is to drop your details on our Partner/Developer form. You can ask them specifically the read-only sandbox environment.

Keep in mind that any Dentally practice you’re working with can issue you a read-only API token from their Settings → Developer Settings screen!
