+3If ‘Prevent Price Change’ is set for a treatment item, is there any level of user that can override it in the chart? For example, can a Level 4 user override it?
We’d like to prevent clinicians from changing the prices in general, but allow administrators to override them in the chart.

Unfortunately, once the ‘Prevent price change’ tick-box is on for a treatment code, the fee is locked for everybody in the chart including Level 4 Administrators. If you need to change the amount you’ll have to go back to Settings → Treatments & Plans, untick the box (or amend the default fee) and save.
If you often need an admin-only price, you can leave the lock on and create a second code (e.g. “Crown – admin adj.”) with its own default fee. I’m keen to hear if other practices have found similar workarounds, feel free to comment below!
