I write notes using a dental note taking tool then copy and paste them into Dentally.

Now I get a space between each line of my notes which I cannot remove. This did not occur with EXACT.

Please can you help fix this?

Hi @Lee McMeeking!

Let me try to clarify how Dentally handles line breaks.
Basically, Dentally treats Enter as a new paragraph, which adds extra spacing. If your note-taking tool is copying each line as a paragraph (common with Word-like editors), you’ll see a blank line between each line after pasting. You can try a few things: first, when typing in Dentally, use Shift + Enter for a single line break (no extra gap). When pasting, try paste as plain text:

  • Windows: Ctrl + Shift + V

  • Mac: Cmd + Shift + V

If that doesn’t work, paste into Notepad/TextEdit (plain text) first, then copy into Dentally.

Let me know if it helps!
