Hi, Is it possible to remove a watch from charting if it was put on as a treatment and completed rather than put on as a base chart item. I’ve just tried to remove a watch by clicking on TP in the history search, but the item is locked.

Here’s what you can try to remove the watch:

 

1. Go to the patient’s Account tab and locate the invoice linked to the treatment. If the invoice is locked, you’ll need to unlock it by removing any payment explanations and reopening the treatment plan. Then, delete the invoice by clicking the bin icon.

2. Once that’s done, head over to the patient’s Chart screen. Look for the watch item, and untick the box on the right of the treatment item. This should allow you to edit or delete the watch as needed.

 

You’ll need the appropriate permissions to delete invoices or adjust treatments. If you’re still having trouble after these steps, our support team might be able to help further.
