Is there a way to turn off the ‘continuing treatment’ prefix when booking follow up appointments. At the moment if the patients name is too long or the appointment is too short I can’t see at a glance what they’re in for if I’m looking at the calendar.

Hey @Fozzy

“Continuing Treatment” is one of Dentally’s built-in appointment reasons, so the system drops it in whenever you book from a treatment plan. At the moment there isn’t a master switch to hide it because reports rely on that tag.

Just to make sure I understand this correctly, is this similar to the situation you’re referring to?

I can bring in someone from our product design team to share more details and I’ll have a look if it’s something our teams are currently aware of 😊

Hi

Yes thats the bit I’m talking about- I don’t need to see their continuing treatment. If they’re booked in for anything other than an exam or urgent app they’re likely to be continuing treatment

Hi Fozzy!

I understand, thanks for confirming and I totally see your point. You already know they’re continuing treatment so you’d much rather see what the appointment is about.

I’ll flag it to our product designers and start tracking it internally. I’ll keep you posted here in case there’s any updates! 😊

Hi, jumping on this post to help boost it. It would definitely be better if the system picked up what the appointment is booked for (e.g. RCT or XLA), rather than just displaying "Continuing Treatment" followed by the rest. It would also be really helpful if colour coding represented different types of treatment, similar to how it's done in Exact. Colour coding makes it much easier to identify appointments at a glance and improves efficiency in a busy practice.
