Clinical notes have disappeared with new update

Our portal just updated to the new clinical notes today. Old clinical notes have disappeared from history tab. Some are there and some are not. I have narrowed it down and it seems the clinical notes that were typed on line items loaded from “Plan templates” have disappeared. I have checked all my exam notes over the last month, and all gone!! I load my consultations, exams, bitewings, OHI etc from plan templates and they are all gone! The random line items such as Periapicals that were loaded from “treatment list” are all there. I mostly do orthodontics and with the clinical notes gone for these consultations, I am left in a position where I cannot send patients treatment plans and consent forms as I have no notes to refer to.
I am hoping this is a temporary glitch and the notes are backed up somewhere and can be loaded back on?

Hi ​@Virennp ,

Thanks for your message. We’re looking into this, as other practices have reported the same thing.

Your notes aren’t lost or missing. You’ll find them on the appointment by opening the appointment note by selecting “Create note”.

I hope that helps. We’ll update you once the underlying issue is fixed.

Unfortunately the problem has been resolved for some patients only, but not all. The notes for most still remain missing from the COT and the history tab.
