I can see from the historic forum posts that some people experienced this update some months ago, but several practices I work at seem to have updated without any notice this evening to the new clinical notes update.
I really can't believe how bad it is, if I'm honest, and was wondering if anyone else had experienced this?
I cannot understand why a product that was simple, effective, and, broadly speaking, was widely considered to have one of the best UXs (particularly in notes compared to all other dental software) would take this step of self sabotage?
Specifically,
- Now far harder to view notes quickly
- Variance across systems, some on the old treatment style, others on a new style with a side tab for the appointments.
- When copying in text loss of all formatting making it harder to read
- Much less responsive
- 5x longer to form plans and navigate
Out of interest, have any users had anything positive to say about the new notes system?
Similarly, was there any feature lacking in the old system that you had wanted improved?
