How are people please tracking their revenue/the practice position?

As far as I am aware there are at least 3 different reports which all give slightly different amounts:

  1. Takings
  2. Allocated payments
  3. Invoices

As many do, we work to a target each month so it would be really useful to know what other practices do which gives the best overview of practice performance on a monthly basis.

Many thanks.

Hi @PMTDS

There are an array of ways sites track revenue, what we usually suggest is tracking your revenue via the invoice report, as this is work that has been charted and completed with an invoice generated for the work.

If you want to take your reporting to the next level, MPC has a partnership with Dentally, which is excellent for dashboard-based reporting. It also gives you the ability to set targets and compare previous years at the click of a button.

For Dentally reporting, maybe @BCDC2023 or @RegentStreet85 could give some insight as to how they track revenue targets.

Thanks,
David

We dont work to a target - however, i do look at the income report each month with our clinical Director - compare that with the Denplan income (because that doesnt show in Dentally)

I also use the practioner allocation report which is the report we use to pay our dentists (on advice from Dentally on set up)

I have never used MPC as the price is quite a high price for what it does
