Would it be possible to update the new search bar…If you input all the information required such as 45mins for a new patient examination with dentist X. if you go to the diary and the patient then can’t do that time etc. If you go to search again you need to re-input all the information. It would be really helpful if it could save your last search.

Hey @Sarah Salisbury 👋

Thanks for the feedback on the Appointment Finder. Our team is actively working on improving this and I’m going to pass it to our Product Manager who may be able to add additional details here 😊

I think there are a few workarounds that can save a few clicks right now:

  • Stay inside the Finder and just move the date – use the mini-calendar or the +1 W / +3 M / +6 M / Today shortcuts; your filters stay active while you look for another slot.
  • Keep Finder and diary side-by-side: duplicate your browser tab first (right-click the tab title → Duplicate). In Tab A open the Finder and leave it there; in Tab B browse the diary. That way the Finder keeps your original search.

Hopefully this helps! I’ll keep this thread open in case we have any updates from our Product team

Thanks for sharing it with us Sarah, this is useful feedback! As Saymon says you can just navigate within the Appointment Finder to any new date or time as this is how it’s designed. We designed it thinking that if you exit the Appointment Finder it’s because you want to start a new (fresh) search rather than continue the old one.

Thank you.
