I would like to know how practices keep track of referrals especially urgent referrals within Dentally. 

We currently use a custom Wait List but it is a workaround and not efficient.  

We would also like to use automated SMS to contact patients 2 or 4 weeks after the referral to confirm that they have been contacted by the specialist. 

Hi Annabel, We have just launched a partnership with Boxly, who on top of their new patient lead management, have a referral tracker which not only helps you manage the referrals coming in but also allows you to create bespoke automated workflows around how to keep in touch with the patient and practices throughout the process. In terms of Dentally itself, ​@Shushil your process is likely one of the best I have seen.
