FAO Multi Site Practices

So I currently have a ticket open with the support team (who are really great and are looking into it)

When our patients receive their recalls sms or email and they click the link to the portal but if they see a dentist/hygienist that crosses sites it doesnt allow them to see avaiability of appointments for both sites.

For instance we have a few patients that see a hygienist who works on one site and a dentist who works across both. If the patient is registered to one site, they cannot book their recall at the other.

As I said above development are looking into but I was keen to see if any other sites have had a problem with it

Hi @RegentStreet85!

I just wanted to add that you’re definitely not alone! Other multi-site groups have shared the same and we’re gathering feedback.

Quick tip in the meantime: if you’ve enabled Site locking in Portal → Customise → Brands, existing patients will only see availability at their “home” site. Turning that toggle off, or sharing a direct booking link per location, lets them book recalls at any of your branches.

If any other multi-site teams are feeling the same pain, please chime in below. The more voices we can attach to the case, the easier it is to push this forward.

Thanks again for flagging it, I’ll make sure to update this thread and I’m also tagging @Simon Guiver our Product Manager working on Portal for visibility. Feel free to add any details Simon! 😊

Hi @Saymon

Thanks for your reply.

Myself and Josh from support tried that yesterday but it allows the patient to book with any clincian.

Due to the way Denplan accounts work and for continuity, the patient should only see their own dentist otherwise it becomes a free for all.
