Hey just a few suggestions for improving the app.
1. There is no lock screen/patient mode for the concierge app so that patients can click off it and click on anything else on the tablets..
2. For the NHS PR form any chance we can write something along the lines of "Choose 1 option for the person having the appointment"
We have a lot of parents clicking under 18 and then scrolling down and clicking universal credit as that is what they are on and obviously it changes the option.

3.Can we have a payment locking option. We have patients that pay a deposit for certain appointments and we need it to lock rather than be in credit.

:)

Hi Lucy,

Thanks for sharing these suggestions! Really thoughtful ideas that could make a big difference! Let me address each one:

1️⃣ Lock screen/patient mode for Concierge:

Currently, there isn’t a lock screen or dedicated patient mode in the Concierge app. Patients can navigate away, but we’ve designed Concierge to keep things secure by only allowing patients with appointments that day to access and complete their own forms. As a best practice, we recommend keeping the tablets behind reception and handing them out only when needed to minimise risks. That said, I can see how a lock mode would make things even easier, so I’ll pass this suggestion on to the Product team for consideration! 😊

2️⃣ NHS PR form messaging:

This is a great point about parents selecting multiple options on the PR form. Unfortunately, the NHS PR form is a standardised document, and its structure is determined by NHS regulations, so we don’t have the ability to directly modify its content or add custom notes. That said, I’ll share your feedback with the team to see if we can find alternative ways to guide patients more effectively while using the form.

3️⃣ Payment locking for deposits:

We don’t currently have a feature that locks deposits, but here’s how it works:

• Deposits are recorded in the patient’s account and stay there as credit if an appointment is canceled.

• For practices using Xero, there’s a payment locking feature that prevents changes to payments after the payment date. While it’s not exactly the same as locking a deposit, it’s a step in the right direction for keeping records secure.

I’ll make sure to highlight this with the Product team as well, it’s definitely something worth exploring further!

Thanks again for all these suggestions, they’re super valuable, and I’ll keep you updated if there are any changes or updates from the team. 😊
