Dentally team,
can you add in names of labs where the work was sent to and the date is due back so that we know when it is overdue?

Hi Anish,
Thanks for your feedback! It’s great to see you exploring the new lab work feature! 🧪
At the moment, you are able track the status of lab work (e.g., sent, received, or overdue) from the calendar or patient record, but there’s no specific lab names or due dates just yet. I can absolutely see how adding those details would make it even more useful for managing lab workflows!
I’ll make sure to pass your suggestion on to our Product team. It’s super helpful as we continue refining and improving the feature. If you’ve got any other ideas or specific ways this could help your practice, feel free to share them here too.
Hi,
Is there any way we can add an icon/notification to the printed day lists for lab work also?
Thanks
Hey
That’s an interesting idea! Right now, there’s no option to include lab work icons on printed day lists, but I understand how having a clear visual cue would make things much easier when managing lab cases throughout the day.
Right now, lab statuses are visible in the calendar with the coloured icons, and there are some customisation options for printed day lists, like adjusting text and formatting. But adding a clearer lab work indicator to printed lists is a great idea. I’ll make sure to pass this feedback along to the Product team as they are very interested in hearing feedback in this new feature!
Amazing idea, may come with further updates
Hi
Regarding the day list question, When I come to print the day list with the lab work log enabled and in use, it will format the writing over the top of treatment details making it impossible to read (see screenshot below). Is this a common bug/ am I able to fix this manually?
Thanks
Hi
Thanks for flagging this and sharing the screenshot, this definitely shouldn’t be happening. I’ve already passed this on to our Product team, and they’ll be looking into it as a priority.
In the meantime, while we work on a fix, could you try adjusting the print settings in your browser to see if that helps with the formatting? Sometimes tweaking things like the scale or margins can make a difference.
I’ll make sure to update this post as soon as I have more news from the team. Thanks again for pointing this out!
