Good morning all,

Regarding cancelled appointments - these used to automatically ping back to the ‘unbooked appointments’ list when the appointment was cancelled which was really helpful, particularly if a patient was not rebooking straight away.  Also any ‘notes’ added to the appointment with more info about the cancellation was automatically removed when it got placed back in the unbooked appointments list.  This facility seems to have gone which means a cancelled appointment now just sits in the patient appointment list.  When the patient subsequently calls to rebook, the receptionist has to search in the patient appointment list for it and add it to the clipboard (which also retains all the notes about the previous cancellation), rebook the appointment and then delete all the cancelled appointment info in the notes.

Our reception team would love it if the original arrangement for how the cancelled appointment is shown is reinstated!  What’s the chances please?!

Many thanks

Kate

Hi Kate,

Thanks for the detailed report, it’s really helpful. We’ve been able to reproduce the issue you mentioned with cancelled appointments not automatically moving back to the ‘unbooked appointments’ list and the associated notes remaining. There seems to be an issue with this functionality.

Our teams will be working on a fix and I’ll make sure to keep you updated on our progress. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve Dentally for everyone. Thanks again for bringing this to our attention! 🙌

Hi Saymon,
