Has anyone been able to find any software that is compatible with dentally to automate your patient report segments upload to the likes of Hubspot/ Mailchimp so I don’t have to manually upload CSV files every week/month?

Your question sounds interesting.   Could you please elaborate further on what you mean and what you're trying to achieve (for those not familiar with hubspot) and why and where you're uploading to?  Always useful for others to consider how we can be operating differently on reporting matter.

For me, automated reporting is preferential so my staff don't need to run the reports each day, they just download a pre-generated one or have them emailed ready to use and action.

Dentally used to have Zapier integration but I do not believe this exists any more - can Dentally confirm please if this is available?

Thank you @Harry Leak. We have somewhat got Zapier linked up with our dentally account but it’s not quite where we want it to be for what we want. We want to be able to get our patient segments to feed through.

How do you currently do your automated marketing campaigns ?

Hi Emily, we do not do any at present, only committing to sending out one newsletter per month. This is something we are considering in New Year, I am keen to be mindful though as we send lots of emails with reminders etc, to not pee patients off as some of the crowd wont like it for sure.

Yes @Harry Leak your absolutely right. There’s definitely a balance to get right. It’s more appointment related information I’d love to automate. I.e Post XLA- aftercare advice and what options there are to ensure consistency. We do it manually currently but now we are 6 clinics it’s harder to keep on top of making sure it’s done manually across the board. With CRM it only picks up those appointments from New Patients . We have a few new systems coming in 2025 so hopefully can get this resolved this coming year 🤞

So we do actually have a solution for that, we built our own app that integrates with Dentally which handles consent forms and aftercare information automatically and emails them out to patients. But its not native at the moment unfortunately!

How do you integrate with Dentally to handle aftercare @Harry Leak ? Dentally seem to only provide Zapier with these 2 events: Appointment Updated and New Appointment. Does the treatment code come through to Zapier from Appointment updated and is that the field you use to then generate your communication?

Hi,

We don't use Zapier, we have built and mapped our own integration using the Dentally API, meaning we can call anything that is available within the API documentation.
